Hello girls not sure whether to bother with a Macom as all I’ve seen is girls on here say they hurt them or didn’t really wear theirs! Really debating on buying one. Also reviews on the mya bras?
Just asking too, been reading on here about moisturising your boobs 6 weeks before the op is that good to prevent stretch marks and things

My only issue with the expensive bras like Macom was that I didn’t know what size I’d be exactly! I went with mya bras as abit cheaper and I bought a small, after my op this fit but after taking my tape off on the following day, it wouldn’t do up!!!! I think it would fit me now as the swelling has gone down but honestly m&s high impact sports bras with the zip front are amazing!!!!! £25 each and they’re so much comfier, harder to hide the straps but I wear it under turtle necks and gives my boobs a nice shape, cause they’re sports bras I’ve also been just putting my gym stuff on and getting away with being able to see it!! Xx

I have the Macom, mya, m&s and asda bras. Out of them all I rate the asda one, it zips up the front and gives you great support. I found the Macom the biggest waste of money and the most uncomfortable

Very True thankyou girls for replying! Yeah read a lot about the Macom being uncomfortable but if it’s what’s recommended I’ll get one and see how I feel in it! Yeah I’ve heard a lot about the Asia and m&s ones I’ll definitely get some there to as we have to wear them for a long time anyway xx

Hello can I ask a question please?

My surgeon doesn’t like the sports bra that zip up the front, he told me to get a high impact sports bra from Matalan. I’ve got it but I’m thinking how will I get it on as it has to go over my head. Will that be painful? Will it be a case of when it’s on it will stay on for a week or two? Any advice would be welcomed x

Get both when your at home you know what you feel comfortable in. Every surgeon had a preference doesn’t mean there always right or wrong xx

YESSSS! I lived in my MACOM for the first 6 weeks and it was my lifeline honestly. Every other bra I tried on (I tried hundreds on in M&S were just so tight I couldn’t breathe). The MACOM is the comfiest bra I’ve actually ever owned and even going out a few weeks post op and wearing a non wired bra for the night I just couldn’t wait to get into my MACOM by the end of the night haha! So worth every penny and just go by what back size you are currently. I’m 15WPO and I still wear my MACOM to bed as it is just amazing. I didn’t have any rubbing or pain with it, the only thing is that it is hard to hide under clothes but so is any other sports bra! Worth. EVERY. Penny!

I couldn’t wear my macom the first week as with the strapping so tight and the tightness of the macom I couldn’t cope. As soon as I had the strapping off my macom fitted perfectly and I’ve worn it every day since (2 weeks now) and will for another 4 weeks until I can wear normal bras. Would 100% reccomend, its stretchy so accommodates swelling, you just pick a band size and not a cup size which is handy as you obviously don’t know what your cup size will be. I’m a 32 back so I bought a 34 to accommodate swelling and it’s been great. So comfy, even to sleep in, hides well under clothes (my M&S sports bra didn’t sit well under clothes at all) they are more expensive but they’re designed for post op boobs to give the best results. They’re a compression garment (unlike M&S sports bras) and which apparently helps the implant settle into its pocket 🙂

I would 100% recommend getting a Macom, I hated it at first it put me in so much pain because of my swelling it was literally crushing my boobs, after 1 week it was perfect soooo comfy, I’m 6 week post op now and I wear it to bed every night for good support and it’s so comfy to sleep in xx

I bought a Macom in a Size M to fit a pre op 32/34 back. I tried it on once in my pre op pics. I had 350cc HP Unders and I recon I’m
An E at the moment with swelling. Dr Fiumara looked at it and said too small & I just put it back in my bag. I’ve bought 3 of the same soft white post op ones from Ebay now in a L as I think
I needed a 36/38 post op back not a 34/36 (pre op 32/34) if you want my one, I’ll post it to you as it won’t fit me in the cup even when I drop, I know by looking at it. I don’t want anything for it, I’ve cut the inside tag out as I hate tags but it’s in brand new unworn condition. PM me your address & ill post it tomorrow. It’s only going to go
In a charity bag otherwise. If you’re a 32 now and having 300’s it should be perfect for you.x
