Yesterday I had my BA in Preston with mr traynor. My admission time was 11am and I was down in theatre at 12pm.
My nurse Sara who looked after me was amazing. I was nervous when I got the to hospital.. I had to work 4am-10am and go straight there so I think all my nerves and excitement kicked in when I arrived.
I was only scared about the needle but they looked after me and talking about umbrellas (don’t know why) and then I woke up and asked about the umbrellas haha.
No pain or sickness and I had to have a look before they put my bra on.. I cried with excitement it’s such a weird feeling to have and see new boobs.
I got home about 6pm had some tea and went to bed now problem.

Today I’m in about of pain but more aching but I’m so happy.
    Here’s my stats…
gone from a 34b and had 400cc overs
    My pics …..

Hey Jess, they’re looking fab! How are you feeling today? I was first on the list yesterday and had a breeze of a day too! In theatre for 9am and awake by 10.10am. No sickness or anything and was discharged early due to good obs.
A bit uncomfortable today but nowhere near as bad as I imagined pain wise! Hope you’re doing well! X

Hey girls..I feel quite sore today….but nothing major!! Yesterday was a breeze….such an easy day and I felt great afterwards, just really sleepy. I got up at 6am today and started cleaning then got my daughter ready for school and when I sat down after she left, that’s when it started throbbing. I can’t cope with the sleeping upright…must have got about 3 hrs sleep all together as I’ve got a 6month old baby aswell waking up in between ????Xxx

Jess your shape looks so much like mine…can definitely tell it’s Mr Traynor who did them ha! This is so exciting isn’t it? I keep unzipping my sports bra and looking at them. Just can’t believe I’ve got boobs now for the first time in my life xxx

I thought you weren’t allowed to put them back in for weeks. I have both mine done and scared to put them back in. I had 450 hp overs. Day 3 is fine. Only thing bothering me is my stitches being itchy and bloating. I haven’t really had any pain. I just wish I could see the finished article now. We wait so long to have them done you just want them perfect straight away xxx

Amanda I never asked when I could put them back in but I have. I didn’t want them to heal. I’ll email my nurse and ask her.

Ciara… I keep having a look at mine too. I’m full of emotions tho it’s so weird isn’t it?! Did you have yours done on the 20th? What did you have? Wow ur a super woman if you are cleaning and sorting your daughter out x

If your happy with them in if leave them. Maybe just take them out before you see the nurse. I really don’t want mine to close either. Think I might jus keep popping them through every other day or so xxx

Yes I had mine done yesterday aswell babe, same admission time as you but we got lost so got there at 11.20 instead!! I thought there’d be a waiting room full of us girls but I got to my room within 5 mins really. I had 425cc and 450cc overs …but what I REALLY wanted was at least 500cc…haha! Mr Traynor said..you don’t want huge breasts, this is a perfect size. It’s so weird babe…I can’t believe it still. Aww it’s a nightmare with a baby…I’m just taking it easy from now on cause I overdid it. Have you got your post op appointment yet? Do you live in Manchester? Xxxx

Ciara… they look fab. Look so natural u happy with them? Try to rest as much as it’s boring I have to keep getting up and having a walk.
Yeah I live in Manchester but my appointment is in Liverpool on the 31st you? Are you just in a sports bra? I’m in a Macon and it’s started to hurt me now. How are u feeling today? Sooo many questions sorry x

Aww thank you…I am very happy with them but I just don’t want them to decrease in size after the swelling has gone down. That is my main concern as I do like the fake boob look! It is so boring isn’t it? I feel so useless, slept on the corner sofa last night and got a much better sleep with my V pillow, about 50 cushions, a pillow and my neck support!! And no baby noises to wake me up either ha. I’m in an M&S post surgery bra…it is absolutely fantastic. I bought two so I’ll be living in them for the next 6 weeks. Mr Traynor also told me at my consultation to sleep in a sports bra basically for the rest of my life…just to prevent sagging. How come your appointment is in Liverpool hun? Oh don’t worry about it…it’s just so nice to be going through this with someone else at the same time xxxx

So boring ha but it’ll be worth it. Yeah i got told to wear one every night as well but atleast we won’t have pain ha.
I have my pre op in Liverpool it might have something to do with that. Are u going to Manchester clinic? I might see if I can change it tho.
Yeah I like fake but natural too atleast you can make them look natural and fake. I just want to know what size I’ll be so I can shop x

Hey girls, how are we all today?
I’m having a bit of a nightmare today… I have absolutely no idea why but I keep bursting in to tears for no reason at all. I have no idea what’s set this off?? Maybe being in the house since Thursday night, I dunno.
I’ve felt a bit sick today but I think that’s been due to eating something ‘iffy’ last night, and I’ve slept a fair bit on and off today. I’m still a little uncomfortable but not in any serious pain or anything. My bra is too tight but I’ve ordered a size up as the others I bought are different and not supportive enough to hold the weight off my incisions.

I just feel really silly for feeling this way for no reason whatsoever!

Hey Lindsey…. I’m feeling emotional too it must be normal. I’ve left the house but I feel weird being in public. My pain is still there and getting worst on my right boob.
What bra are you wearing? Have you ordered the same? I’m in a Macom and it’s killing me but I want to keep it on as much as possible.
I’m the same as you when it comes to sleeping but I’m only having 30mins at a time. Over the last 2days I’ve had 6hours. X

Aww I’m sorry you’re feeling this way too, it sucks. I guess it might be down to not having a proper night’s sleep. I sometimes get a bit like this if I’m sleep deprived and/or hungover. I haven’t drank though- haha.
I bought my bras off Amazon but I think I should have got a 38 instead of a 36 so that’s what I’ve ordered now.
I’ve not had too much trouble sleeping but Ive woken up a few times so not had a full night yet.

I was invited to a BBQ tonight but haven’t gone due to how I’m feeling and don’t relish the thought of being the centre of attention right now. I’m going to force myself to go out and have a walk tomorrow though- see if that helps. Maybe try doing the same.

Have you tried some ice packs? I’ve had a big one down the centre of my chest on and off as I’m so bruised and stretched down there. I’ve had it laying over the tops and on either side from time to time too.

I hope things pick up for you too Hun xx

Hey girls, my incisions have been hurting and stinging more today although I’m trying to avoid pain meds till it gets really bad, I’ve heard by day 4 the pain should start to dissipate a little? I hope so anyway, really bored of not being able to do anything lol xx

Yes nothing sleeep has a lot to do with it but we can all get through this together. That’s why I’m on this forum as we are all helping each other out.
I haven’t tried ice packs but I might give it ago. I’ve just been in a car and oh my that’s painful.
Yeah walking will help.. are you mobile? I have the need to get up and do some laps of my room every hour or so.
We can get through this.. that’s all I keep thinking ????
I might have a look for another bra to wear.

Natalie… I hope u are ok. I feel your pain. Hopefully it’ll be a better day tomorrow. Keep me posted in how your getting on x

Hi hun, aww I think it is absolutely normal to feel abit down after any surgery where you are housebound and restricted. Hope you feel better tomorrow!! I’ve been in a lot more discomfort today than I was yesterday…just sore and tender more than pain. With regards to the bra… I was a 36B and at my pre -op with the nurse, she told me to get whatever cup size I was aiming for and the next size up aswell to take to the hospital. She also told me to go up to a 38 because of swelling, so I bought 38DD and 38E and after surgery I just let the hospital nurse decide which one and she picked the 38E and it’s been great!! They should tell everyone to do that. Xxx

Oh and I forgot to say that I keep feeling sick and/or lightheaded every time I stand up for more than 10 mins so that must be normal aswell. Been super sleepy today and keep having 20 mins here and there or just shutting my eyes for abit xxx

Jess, I think you should try the M&S post surgery bra… £25! And go the next band size up just so it’s not too tight around. And OMG I can’t believe you go to Liverpool when you live in Manchester…I would definitely get that changed cause you’re gna be going quite often now for your post surgery check ups and that is just too much travelling all the way there xxxx

I’ll have a look at the post op bras in m&s and get one and try it out. I have the MYA ones but it fastens at the back and I’d rather have it at the front so I can let them breathe.
I know i think it’s because I met mr traynor and had my pre op on the same day in Liverpool but I’ll message to swap it to Manchester.
Hope u all have a nice comfortable night x

If you buy the M&S post surgery bras online, they take of the VAT so you pay slightly less.
I’m wearing the M&S post surgery high impact sports bra and have a normal M&S high impact sports bra both zip up the front. I find them really comfortable.
I’m 1 1-2 weeks post surgery and have kept mobile since the day after surgery, I’m feeling better as each day passes, I’m now used to sleeping on my back the M&S V pillow is really comfortable, I’ve been taking arnica (it’s a natural remedy to help healing) and I’m back into work tomorrow. My emotions have been a bit all over the place, I’m worried my boobs are too big and that everyone’s going to be staring at me. I’ve not been out much, apart from a few walks so not seen anyone I know.
It’ll be nice to get back into my normal routine.
We have a wedding reception to attend on Saturday and that’s stressing me out, I’m looking forward to seeing some old friends but I’m struggling with what to wear as the sports bra looks rubbish under any of the dresses I’ve tried on 🙁

Hey Kaye. I’ll have a look at m&s everyone seems to be going for them bras.
I keep getting up and walking but then going to sleep… it’s hard getting into a routine so let me know how you get on please . Have you found a dress? And just think if people are starting they are starting because you have amazing boobs and they want to see them. Have you been measured? What was you before? What implants did u have? X

    @emmakayee

I got the matalan post surgery bras. They’re available in both black and white. Not sure if it would be of any benefit but it may look better under a dress for a wedding than a sports bra 🙂

    https://www.matalan.co.uk/product/detail/s2594659/post-surgery-non-padded-non-wired-lace-bra

The white lace across the chest can be removed also. Hope this helps x
