    Someone just told me that because you aren’t allowed any metal during surgery this also includes silver fillings??? I’ve never heard of this before and this wasn’t mentioned to me when booking my surgery but as it is only two days away this person has now stressed me out and I’m worried! Is this true or nothing to worry about?

    I have one filling and a metal wire on the back of my top teeth and my surgery was on Monday! You’ll be fine. Xxx

    @Chloe I really wouldn’t worry about that. Can you imagine how many people have fillings these days and need surgery, not just cosmetic. Filling are not something you can just pop in and out. I’ve had non cosmetic surgery before and I have silver fillings. You’ll be fine 🙂 xx

    You will be fine, I have metal wire brace behind my top teeth and they were aware, just as long as it’s not wobbly then it will be fine 🙂 xxx
