I had my surgery yesterday at The First Trust in Preston. Mr Traynor was my surgeon. I was 34AA and have had 300cc unders.

I arrived at the hospital at 2pm and was surprisingly calm. The staff were really lovely from start to finish. Every single person I encountered had a smile on their face and jokes to make. Even Mr T himself.
I put on my paper knickers, surgical socks and gown (at this point I must admit I felt super sexy)…
The last person I saw was the lady who put in my canula. She took me down to theatre and lay me down on the bed- at this point I was really nervous- I’ve never had a general anesthetic so I felt sick about how it was going to go. She reassured me and gave my arm a little squeeze. She said it’s too much paperwork if anything goes wrong with general anesthetic so they make sure nothing does- which made me giggle. The anesthesiologist then came in cracked a joke and put in the anesthetic before I even noticed. He told me I’d feel drunk and I did…
I declared how nice it felt and he told me not to get too used to it as it’s expensive stuff lol. They wheeled me into theatre and somebody asked me a question. Next thing I know I was being woken up. I asked the nurse to repeat her question as I hadn’t heard properly. Of course she then informed me that she didn’t know what I was talking about but my surgery was over…
I literally couldn’t believe it so had to lift up my gown to check she was telling the truth. I was so pleased and grinned my head off.
I then went back to my room. Drank gallons of water because I was thirsty and ate a lovely ham sandwich.
I was discharged at 8.30pm all done and dusted.

The day went so quickly. For all if you ladies who are feeling nervous or having second thoughts don’t…. it’s so much better than anything you’re imaging.
Pain levels- when I woke up my incisions were stinging but that stopped after about an hour and I had no pain. They just felt heavy. The drive home was easy- didn’t feel any discomfort and my fella drives like Lewis Hamilton. This morning I woke up and felt stiff and heavy- I’ve taken paracetamol and Ibruprofwn in intervals and I’m OK. I’ve been up and about and apart from the heavy feeling- which is uncomfortable there’s no pain.

Good luck ladies you can all do it. It’s the best feeling ever looking down and knowing that you finally have the boobs you’ve always wanted xxx
