    Hi All,

    I’ve got my pre-op on the 10th August. When I had my consultation with my surgeon I put together a list of questions to ask him. So now I want to do the same for my Pre-op, except I’m not sure what things to ask when it comes to this? Or what they tend to advise you? Any guidence would be really appreciated xx

    They give you loads of info to take away that pretty much covers everything you need to know so try not to worry about it x

    Hi katie. The nurse just asks you lots of questions about your health and will give you general information to take away with you. Xxx

    I had my preop last week in Chelmsford and I only received one sheet explaining how to get to Fitzroy and the parking surrounding it. Should I of recieved more information than this?! Xx

    Im not with mya but I got leaflets about recovery etc she went through what bras are best and recommended vitamin tablets. That was about it really. If you are in good health they don’t really need to go through much with you xxx

    @Lex i know you’ve had yours done with the same company that I’m going with, did they ask you for a GP letter to say your fit for surgery or anything like that? Iknow loads of the MYA girls on here have said they had to.

    @jessica     I would have expected you to have got some info explaining what your not allowed to do pre op/during op,
    things such as no jewellery, piercing, deodourant, fake tan, smoking before etc

    I had to pay to have my medical records released katie but that was to do with a previous medical issue with my heart. If you are in full health then they don’t ask for them xxx

    @Lex hopefully I should be okay then, there’s nothing at all wrong with me, the only issues I’ve had physically was an operation to remove my Gall Bladder when i was about 18 and never any issues mentally. How much did it cost to have your medical records released? xxx
