I live in Warrington wondering best place to get measured I went Debenhams and the woman tried b cup and c cup and tried suggesting Acup at this point I said there’s no way that’s what I started with it really disheartened me as this is the first time I’ve ever been to get measured even before implants

Ah you will 100% be more than a a and b cup! Take a day to go around a few different shops, i was meassured different in every shop so just went with what felt the best. Try john lewis, ann summers, bravisimo, boux avenue. Honestly dont let it get you down and see what the other shops say. The lady you had might not be used to fitting bras on fake boobs as they sit in bras differently anyways x

John Lewis & Boux Ave. I got measured the other week for my pre op size and they were both very patient even tho they knew I wouldn’t be spending any money. Will be going back to both after my surgery 🙂

Victoria Secrets, M&S were really good measure different size in both shops but have brought from both. M&S lady asked me did I want to say I have a big cup size or could she measure me for what she wanted. She measured me for what she thought and then explain about sister sizing. Boux Avenue drove me completely nuts if you love to try on bras like the whole shop then you will be fine. I was 6wks post op and after bra number 12 my nipples were so sore my boobs ached and my patience was wearing thin. Victoria Secret good service M&S really good service asked what I wanted what sort of thing I was looking for. Happy shopping xx

I had never been measured before my op i wore a 36b and it felt comfortable. I got measured after my op and she said im 34e in 1 shop, 36c in another. The bras fitted…just! But i litrally feel like its a guessing game with them…id just try on a few bras in different shops and make your own mind up coz i got the impression most shops dont have a clue anyway x

They don’t have a clue Laura, everyone gets told different and not even by a little, seems a huge difference in sizes they are being told xx

I went to ms and was 34DD/E I’ve found all other good quality bras fit of this size, the only ones that are random are the supermarkets and peacocks – I tend to order online so I can return uncomfy ones. I also have found with my drop and fluff I prob need to. E measured again
As I’m beginning to pop out, so if unders don’t buy too many x

I know know this is maybe a silly question but when you get measured, do you take off your bra? As mine are really restricted and small in my Macom however when I set them free they are totally different! Would that effect them measuring you if you are in a compression bra? Xxx

@ydt1983 I know before my op when I was measured most places measured in my bra. However John Lewis measured me without a bra, and I think she was most accurate. So that’s where I will be going back to xx

I went to M&s and Hancock and wood both measured the same but much better at Hancock and wood as the lady had implants herself before she measured me she looked at me a said the size she thought and was right x
