I’m 4.5 weeks po now and plan to go back to the gym tomorrow, my surgeon said to wait 6 weeks but I really need to get back to doing some proper exercise. I’m going to do body weight only lower body stuff, bike, walking on the treadmill and the stair climber (can’t bloody wait saddo that I am). I’m working on the basis that as long as I’m not using my upper body or lifting any weights it should be fine and have friends who’ve gone back to the gym earlier than me and been absolutely fine.
If it hurts then I suppose the best advice is to stop what your doing and try again in a week or so.
