So I’m now 5 days post op and can’t believe how fast it’s gone!
Still taking it really easy. Got my first appointment with the nurse on Tuesday.
Things are becoming a lot easier now, getting there with movement back in both my arms and sleeping a lot better.
Still swear by ice-packs, they really are a saviour!
I had 350cc in my left & 325cc in my right.
My right is still noticeably sitting higher than my left, despite having the smaller implant in? I know they heal at different rates but wondering whether anyone else has experienced this?
Hi Hun, I’m 4 days post op and my right boob is much higher and more swollen than the left too! Also constantly glued to ice packs haha! I’ve noticed it’s started to settle a bit through the day but then late at night/ in the mornings it swells back up again which is frustrating:/ it not a fun stage is it! Xxx
Sounds like we’re both in the same boat. I know what you mean about the swelling though at night times. Fingers crossed the swelling will start to reduce for the both of us soon!
Yeah it’s definitely not a fun time haha. I’m 6 days Post Op now and starting to feel more with it in myself it’s just the swelling that’s doing my head in a bit haha. Ice-packs are 100% my best friend at the mo though! They relieve it for a short while.
How are you doing otherwise babe? Xxx
Had a bit of a wobble last night! Just fed up of feeling uncomfortable and not really loving the look of mine (even though they’re under strapping) due to the pointy swollen shape! I’m like a ninja everytime my boyfriend comes close throwing my arms up to protect my boobs ha so had a bit of a cry but feel better today! But otherwise I’m sleeping fine and not got much pain, just a really achey back.. the things we do! How are you hun? Xxx
Hang in there Leigh and Alice it’ll soon pass… I hated those first few days but by day 6 I was starting to feel much more like myself. I’m now 11dpo and can make myself a coffee, wash my hair, put on loose tops over my head.. all those little things that you take for granted and can’t do at first! I still have to be super careful and need help with drying hair etc but I’m getting out and about every day now too which is definitely good. I too had those wobbles as you don’t see an end to it but I promise you you should start to feel much better very soon xx
Thankyou @clare141 xx
Aww that’s reassuring Clare and so good to hear! It really does get on top of you quite a bit.
Definitely think it’s down to being house-bound too – I can’t wait to get out the house for the day tomorrow for my check-up.
Leigh, pleased you’re getting on okay otherwise. Think it really is just a matter of patience and taking each day as it comes. I’m also just suffering with a bit of an achey back. Other than that I’m getting there I think! Tell you once thing though… I can’t wait to be able to shower!!!!!! Haha. The little things that you take so much for granted. Xxx
Ps guys, can you enlighten me on how to tag people in posts? Can’t figure this out haha.
@alicesandells if you click on the person you want to write to you will see their username- mines leighemma89 if you put a @ infront of that it makes a link xxx
