Had my strapping off today and not loving my new boobs 🙁 I’m dreading showing my boyfriend to be honest! They look really stuck on and pointy.. I’m now in a 34D bra so it’s a big change from my empty 32A and I feel silly because I asked for a D cup and that’s what I’ve got and now I’m praying they’ll go down a bit!!! Ones still high and much fuller at the top and when I asked about it going down my surgeon said it should go down but he can’t tell me how much as it’s a bigger implant because of the asymmetry and because of that he can’t guarantee absolute asymmetry which I understand but I doesn’t make me feel much better. Am I being silly? I’m still only 5DPO but terrified I’ve done the wrong thing Xxx
5 DPO
They don’t actually look that big on the photo, I’m not sure if it’s the projection as I was pretty flat before. The high up boob just looks awful to me though it’s such a funny shape xx
Hi darling,
Firstly, if you’ve just had your strapping removed, you must be very early into your post-op journey, and your breasts look FANTASTIC. You have absolutely NOTHING to worry about. You need to treat your boobs as two completely separate operations, and they will heal at different rates. They will drop, become softer, settle into their pockets, and adapt to your body. Please don’t stress <3.

Be kind to yourself honey, you are healing! Xxxx
Thankyou <3 feel like I’m driving myself crazy! Really hate the high up boob, it’s so funny shaped! I think I panicked because I expected the surgeon to be like oh don’t worry it’ll be fine, it’ll drop and then they’ll be perfect and you’ll live happily ever after haha. I suppose there are no guarantees really but like you say it is very early days. Just need to have faith. Honestly don’t know what I’d do without this site to moan to xxx
They look fantastic and you are so early days.
I e had mine done twice now and soon as you take strapping off they look high, mishapen and rock hard.
Trust me when all the swelling has gone down and they have dropped they will look fantastic.
So early days
they look really great!! Listen to Xmaspuds though I’ve read a few of her other posts and they are great and so reassuring 🙂 xx
Thanks ladies xxx
Aww don’t worry yourself Lily they really will drop and settle down they changed so much almost daily you just have to not look at them for a few days and you will notice a difference try taking a one weekly picture and compare the two xx
Any time Lily, you’re in an ideal situation if you hate the higher boob! Because that will be the one that still needs to drop into it’s pocket fully – it will happen!
I know exactly what you mean, you want the surgeon to tell you everything will be perfect and to just sit tight(!) I think sometimes the surgeons are so busy and do this 24/7, it really is second nature to them and they forget how easily we can stress over one tiny comment they make (or don’t make), when really a little bit of reassurance would go a LONG way.
Your surgeon doesn’t sound concerned at all, which is a great sign, he knows the recovery process like the back of his hand and probably assumes everyone else does too, he’s thinking – what is she worrying about, they’re healing perfectly?! Haha.
You actually look fantastic for the stage of recovery you are in. Your more stubborn twin will settle! Listen to @charliebabex! Amazing advice to not analyse them every day, you’ll drive yourself crazy <3
@amberlu1 awww thank you beautiful, what a lovely comment. xxxxx
