I am having my BA with 400cc implants on the 11th September, really anxious for being put to sleep how did everyones go?, also do you always come back with drains? having my pre op in a few weeks and seeing Dr Mounir for the final time before the big day?
Hi I’m 6dpo had 450 overs.
Being put to sleep was the thing I was worried about most but honestly I don’t know why I worried over it so much.
It was actually a nice feeling lol.
Put the needle in and said I would feel a slight cold feeling in my arm then said count to five I think I got to 3.
When I woke up I remember the nurse saying hi u ok? I said isnit done she said yeah. It honestly felt like I was asleep for 2 mins x
They say some people have drains and some don’t, luckily I didn’t but they said at the clinic if u do come back with them don’t worry. Good luck xx
awwh thank you so much vicki, I’ve just paid my deposit and now only a week and bit away from having it done so excited. and yay did you go into the actual theatre room as some people have said they did? i think this would freak me out even more.
As for the drains fingers crossed i won’t need them. 🙂 how are you doing with yours? xx
I was worried about being put to sleep as well as I’d never had a General before but honestly the anaesthetist was lovely and very reassuring and it was quite a nice feeling, I had a good sleep lol. You just suddenly drift off and next thing you know, you’re in recovery waking up.
Drains just depends on the surgeon, they all do things differently xx
