    Hi Ladies,

    Crazy question, but has anyone kept individual eyelashes on during op? I have been told not to wear them, but don’t know if I can deal without them!xx

    I’m having my lashes put back on tonight after a bald painstaking week!!

    hair out ( extensions)
    lashes off
    nails off ( need natural nail bed)
    and all metalworks (percings ect) out xx

    Yes I kept mine on and only took one nail off x – the reason you take them off is because some people keep there eyes open during surgery and they then cover – so wen cover comes off could take eyelashes off x

    Sabrina did u leave yours on? I have individual ones on. don’t really want to take them all off. Also i have a dermal piercing in my face, which doesn’t come out. removing this will permantley scar my face. i have been told it has to come out, but what do they do if people have metal work in their jaw etc?

    Hi Kelly I had my surgery yesterday and unfortunately all metal needs to be removed. They explained that they use something to stop the bleeding during surgery and any metal interferes with it and stops it working, if anything serious were to happen and they need to use equipment with exlectrical currents it’s not good news xx

    My hair and nails are real so that is fine with me! It’s just my lashes I don’t want to take off!
    I have my tongue, nose and belly pierced so will have to put plastic bars in xx

    I have individual lashes and I kept on also kept nails on just had one removed so they can see x

    Hi Ellie I get my lashes done too and was mortified at the thought of taking them off! I was allowed to keep them on but I wasn’t with mya so they may say differently. Xx

    You won’t be able to leave your tongue bar in, even a plastic one. They put breathing tubes down so they class it as an obstruction, they will deffo make you take it out… not sure about everything else but most definitely your tongue bar ????

    I had russian lashes, Acrylic nails, gel toes and a tan and no one batted an eye lid xx Id just been on holiday so I phoned to check about nails and the nurse said it was fine to leave them on xx

    I had individual lashes they Said it was fine and they told the surgeons so they were carful, I was allowed my nails done too ( but I didn’t have anything on anyway ) xx
