Hi ladies.
Every one has been so helpful on here already. I was hoping before I go ahead a book my surgery that I could see the difference between round under implants compared to teardrop under implants. My surgeon I’d recommending round under for me but I think I like the look of tear drop.
I hope you can share your photos and experience.
This will really help me with my final decision. Thank you girls xxx
I think it all depends on what u what to achieve round are good for getting the fullness lost from top off boobs Hun where as teardrops don’t give the fullness at top like the round would do I’d say go with what your Sugoen has suggested as he knows best maybe ask him about teardrop implants and see what he says xxx
Thank you Stacey. Yeah my surgeon recommended round which I’m happy with but I always thought I’d go with tear drop. I’ve had my two babies now and my boobies are now none existent lol so I would really like the fuller natural look. Xx
Hi @lacey23, I’ve got teardrop partials and they do look so natural. I didn’t have a choice due to little chest tissue, my surgeon said the round ones would give me a ridge. If I’d have had the option I’d have probably gone for round as I worry they may rotate in the future although I know it is extremely rare! However I do love how natural they look… they don’t look like 2 footballs which was my worry with a boob job! I know that round ones can also look really natural too so maybe speak to your surgeon and find lots of pics of the sort of look you’d like. Xx
Thank you Clare . It’s always really nice to hear from others about their experiences. I’m so nervous but I know I really want this done for me. Do here crossed I’m brave enough to actually book haha. Xx
Definitely go for it @lacey23 if it’s something you’ve always wanted! I’m 26 but wish I’d had mine done years ago when I knew I first wanted one.. kept putting it off thinking ‘I’ll learn to like them/get used to them, I’ll save money etc’ but that feeling never went! Let me know if you have any questions 🙂 X
Yeah that’s exactly how iv been. In 28 now and ivnever had big boobies but I was a nice c before my babies then after they came along they seem to have drank me dry. Haha. And now I barely fit a an a cup. That’s great thank you clare, would you mind if add you? Xx
My surgeon said the shape for me based on my measurements so I should think your surgeon has done the same. It’s to do with width etc of. Chest not just the boob shape xx
Your surgeon should advice on shape Hun, they don’t look any different to round implants, (studies prove this) they are normally used when there is very little breast tissue to avoid the ridge or wen having a uplift, but if u have enough breast tissue n u just want to be bigger your surgeon will most likely recommend round implants for u, the look after is down to the surgeons work and the shape of your breasts before hand, just explain the look u want or take a pic of your ideal boobs and your surgeon can tell you if u can achieve that look xx
@lacey23 Ah I’ve heard a lot of women on here say they wanted one after breastfeeding! It sounds like you’ll have breast tissue already then so it wouldn’t surprise me if your surgeon recommends rounds to begin with. But certainly discuss the option of teardrops if that’s what you prefer. Some surgeons also prefer to work with a specific shape… in 80% of surgeries my surgeon uses teardrops so I knew he was confident at using them. Maybe ask how often yours has used them? They have to be really confident as they create a precise pocket to avoid rotation. Luckily my surgeon had only had one woman ever come back to him in 20 years of using teardrops so that made me feel much better! Of course I don’t mind you adding me 🙂 xx
@aaaangell Can I ask whether you have rounds/teardrops? Your boobs look amazing in your profile picture! Xx
