I’m really confused on what we can and can’t do… I know I can’t drive for another week but I have been doing little things round the house like putting dishes away and putting them back in the dishwasher.. I haven’t lifted anything heavy really apart from a kettle. My partner has been helping with mostly everything though… but today I bent over to get my dogs toys out his cage and it did hurt my boobs but hurt the incisions a lot more like a tight feeling.

Just go with it is all i can say, you know yourself if you are doing too much no one else can really tell you that because its all how you feel. Personally im pretty much back to normal doing everything i normally would just doing it slower and more carefully. Im a mum of 3 an my partner went back to work yesterday so i just got on with it really an im only 4dpo but we are all different so just do what you can be be extra careful xx

I’m the same Hun, I can do most things but it comes to picking up things like the cat or dog bowls to feed them, my boobs hurt. I get a sharp pain in my nipples which is so weird. I’m 11DPO now Xx

Iv been picking my 1 year old up, driving since Saturday, do all housework and hoovering…shopping everything like I haven’t even had it done, as yu. Know am 10 days post op today and nurse told me today to give up on cleaning till Saturday (my baby I have no choice) but if I keep over doing it … it could cause fluid build up and make my boob go funny shape and end up bknin hosp back to the beginning so as my little girl is back from her dads later today I intend on getting help from her lol xx

I was doing all sorts that I shouldn’t really of been doing and yes sometimes it hurt a bit but I’m fine. Just try and take it easy. I drove at 1 week even though some gears were quite hard, I was making food, hoovering (very slowly), changing bedding, took my dogs for a walk. Things like turning taps off were quite difficult aswell but I managed. If something hurts to do, just make sure you stop and get someone to help you. Xxx

I was also doing too much (hard when you’ve got children though). And being the school holidays, driving was a must so I was back behind the wheel one week post-op. There were times when cleaning that I realised I was doing too much and just gave up xxx
