I never stopped :-/ I was really bead and had one before I went in and on the car journey home :-/ they have to advise you to stop to cover their own backs weather you do or not is up to you xx

They tell you to stop because it thins your blood which can cause lots of different issues, it also delays healing. I stopped smoking fags when I first enquiried about a BA, but I vaped instead. I stopped nicotine a week before (was advised two), but I’m still not having any nicotine. To be honest, it’s painful enough as it is without slowing down the healing process with a fag. But I suppose it depends on your will. I tried the first week and failed, not sure when your surgery is but if you can implement small changes a while before, it might be easier xx

Ye they say it can slow down healing, but it hasn’t me. But I guess everyone is different. I always think we’ll if it was an emergency they would still operate wether you smoked or not. My bp, pulse and sats are almost perfect. It’s down to each individual xx

To be honest my recovery has been a breeze. Only a few tips, deffo get a v pillow this will be your best friend. Listen to your body, it will tell you when your doing to much. Try to keep as mobile as you can after your op, this helps with swelling. Keep on top of your painkillers, even if you don’t think you need them when they are due… take them anyway.
Enjoy your new boobs and take loads of pictures everyday, this will help you see the changes. And get a good supportive bra xx

No I got the shock absorber D+ I got it off a website called wiggle for £19.99 and it came next day. My surgeon recommended against the macom bra xx

I had my op at Preston, I was worried i would be in pain but I’ve been absolutely fine, the only thing that is hard is not being able to pick my daughters up.
I cannot believe the change in how i feel since getting them done, I am
So happy – my boobs were really making me feel crap about myself .
