    Hi

    So I’m currently 4DPO and still in strapping. I get it off on Tuesday. I was a 34a/b pre op and was advised To get 36D for the support bras. I have got two of these from Matalan as recommended.
    I am thinking of getting the marks and spencer High impact sports bra also. Just wondering would I get a 36d again or go bigger? I’ve never brought a sports bra so don’t know how they fit etc.
    Any advice? Thanks x

    Hi, i had the 36dd bra same as yours so when i ordered the m&s one i ordered the same size but they come yesterday an although they are stretchy i felt that it compressed my boobs so i went to exchange them last night an i tried on the next cup size up and the next band size up to see which was best an i found that even the 36e it still felt that pull so i thought it must be the band size what was doing it so i ended up getting the 38band an it feels much better. On the reviews for the bra alot do say that the band size comes up short so i think the 38 in the m&s one is about the equivelent to the 36 in the matalan bra we have. Hope that helps xx

    I had the m and s two pack high impact sports bras (not zip front) and just went a band size up and the cup size I was expected to be. Also bought another cup size up incase of swelling but just kept the receipt and took it back 🙂 xx

    Thanks @laura I just tried the post op one from matalan which is a 36d and the cup size looks a bit too big?! Soooo hoping it will fit? Feeling bummed about that really.
    I’ll order the 38d sports bra then you reckon?

    My matalan bra looks massive i was looking at it thinking no way that is going to fit but put it on an it fitted perfectly the cup shape was the exact shape of my boobs lol an yeah i think that would be best going on what i tried on yesterday. Im feeling fine thankyou, the only pain i get now really is the morning boob an if i have been sat a long time although i have had a few sharp pains think its something to do with the nerves reconnecting. Just wish they would drop abit i know its early days but they havent changed yet lol my left nipple is pointing downwards which is really bugging me because when i was meassured up it was 0.4cm lower an id never really realised before but now that its pointing downwards im panicing thinking its going to be more prominent now and it might stay there lol. I know the nipple changes position when they drop so i cant wait for that. How are you feeling now xx

    It might be because of your strapping because it want be able to mould round your boobs properly at the min xx

    Arr it’s good yours fit you well!! Mine just looks a big baggy lol I will not be happy if I’m not even a D!!! 🙁
    Yeh I sometimes get those pains and burning pains if I’m in a certain position. Didn’t really have morning boob today, I kept waking up during the night so think as I kept moving it helped abit.
    Yeh I had one boob and nipple bigger than the other and it’s still the same -_- just trying not to stress myself out about it yet lol wait for the drop and fluff I spose! Then stress lol xx

    I think it will fit better once your strapping is off they look a good size. Yeah i know what you mean really do need to be patient and see how it changes xx

    Hey mae I’ve just tried my 36 dd and d bras on and both are 2 big…maybe because there strapped down but they feel very swallon already so can’t see them getting any bigger….so confusing because now I have no idea what size sports bra to get too xx

    @laura yeh I suppose the strapping might have something to do with it.
    Same @mitch 🙁 don’t get it!! Don’t understand how they would get bigger now!! Just gunna hold off till Tuesday I think! Just hope one of the bras fit after that else I’ll be screwed xx

    @mae I don’t understand either surly he wouldn’t say to get that size bra if it was gunna be to big lol, I’m not letting it bother me just yet I was just abit shocked that the D doesn’t fit xx

    @laura @mitch is it ok to wear like a post op bra over the strapping?
    Even tho it’s a bit big I’m actually seeing people today and the bra hides the triangle cone shape boobs I currently have lol have you done this? With it on loose? Xx

    I did because my strapping came loose, i asked Bev if it was ok she asked mr kazzazi an he said it was fine xx

    I had the black one on @mitch yeh was comfy enough. I didn’t have it done right and kept checking i was pushing my incisions in. It was more just to hide the cone shape boobs I currently have lol and my puffy nipples hahaha xx
