So it’s been a full week now and I still look 6 mths pregnant, i mentioned this last week and a few were having problems…. is it just me or is everyone the same? It’s really getting me down!
I’m the same 🙁 I’m 1wpo and doesn’t seem to be going down at all, I’m eating pretty healthy and drinking lots of water so I don’t know what else I can do to help xx
I really don’t want to go down the laxative route but im heading that way, love my boobs, can cope with everything except the fat tum. Bought some jeans today and have a tyre over the front.
My tummy is normally fab, i work it hard at the gym just can’t believe it’s so big, it’s getting me down so much
I was avoiding it too, we’re meant to be enjoying our nice new boobs and it makes it hard! I’m used to a flat stomach and feel like I look like I’m 6 months pregnant, I’ve been up and about the past few days and going out for walks too thinking it would help x
I ended up taking a laxative after 5 days as I hadn’t been to the loo! It helped but then the bloating seemed to come back again. I’m 9 days po and it is going but hasn’t gone yet. I’ve finished all my tablets and only taking the odd painkiller so I’m hoping that will make a difference. It does make it hard to enjoy your new boobs I find I can’t look at them much as I just fee fat. I think I’ve got water retention too as I seem to be fatter all over! Xx
I feel exactly the same Sherrie it seems to be all over! I look in the mirror and all I see is my stomach not my boobs haha. I finish my antibiotics tomorrow so hopefully that makes a difference! Xx
Hey hun, it happened to me, I was so bloated, after I finished all my antibiotics and pain killers it took about another 3 weeks before the bloating fully went away….it felt like it would never go but eventually it does xx
I can’t cope, going on a detox today to see of it helps, it’s making me miserable. If that do t work I’m on the laxatives
Will let you all know if it helps!
Hiya girls it took me around 4 weeks for the bloating to disappear and it isn’t anything to do with painkillers after your op as I didn’t take mine did some research and apparently the swelling travells down your body slowly because of the trauma it’s been through, 4 weeks of hell lol but it soon went x
Thanks hun, iv read online its fluid from lower chest to travelling down, I’m preying it dont take me 4 weeks ????
I’m actually more terrified of the bloating than the operation itself! I’m soooo obsessive about my weight, I’ve put on a bit now and I’m desperately trying to get rid before my op because I know I’ll end up being bloated on top of it :'( has anyone found anything that might help?
Don’t know if it will work but I know Jodie Marsh has a supplement brand called JST Jodie that does tablets called Neptox that you take before bedtime and it helps with bloating/water retention. I’ve used them before because I tend to hold water. Don’t know if it’ll help with bloating after surgery but might we worth asking if they’re okay to take? They’re about £10 for a bottle of tablets that should last about a month. Xxx
Hi girls. I’m 9DPO and my bloating disappeared after 7 days. I didn’t have any problems with toilet. On 2DPO I started juice detox. I was drinking cold pressed juices (fruits&veg) & soups for 5 days. I ordered them from juicemaster. After detox I notice my skin got a lot better. A lot of benefits. Worth considering girls xxx
Charcoal capsules from holland and barrett are meant to be good for bloating they are half price the now.. i am going to get some for my surgery on Wednesday.
Found this online guys, it’s not just had etc
Iv been on a detox all day and it’s starting to get a little bigger again, I’m grand in the mornings it tends to build over the day so this explains a lot
