I didn’t stop sweet I just cut down as much as I could. I had my last one 9pm night before my op and just didn’t have one the day. Get yourself a vape that helped loads , 3.5wpo now and haven’t had any problems! Touch wood lol xx

I did but I don’t smoke as much as you. I had 2 a day. I would try and cut down a little bit just to help aid recovery xx

I cut down for about 6 weeks before and vaped instead although I was told the most important time not to smoke is after the op as it slows the healing x

I was shocked too as I’ve seen so many say they smoked before there op but my pc told me weds its a new thing I just don’t think it’s worth the risk I’d be so gutted if I got sent home I don’t understand why u have to quit for 2 weeks tho as nicotine is out your system within so manys days I think xxxx

My nurse told me some surgeons do a nicotine test and some don’t. My surgeon (Netri) doesn’t do the test so I told my nurse I would try to cut down ( probably won’t lol) like the other girls have said they just have to tell you the risks !!

Hi ladies I was naughty and smoked right up to surgery I had also been ill with chest and throat infection but didnt go to DR has thought it would clear up by itself. After surgery I really suffered with fast heart rate and low oxygen levels and had to be kept in overnight on a nebuliser! Get a vaper it’s a lot better post op. I havnt had a cig and iam 6 DPO not worth it. After paying all this money i wantto look after my new boobies so a change in lifestyle is needed. Dr Netri is amazing and preston first trust really took care of me. Will upload pics when had dressings off they look amazing and i am so pleased . No pain in boobies just pain in chest due to infection xxx

Sorry to but in genna my friend used a vape before her ba but she used 0mg as there will still be nicotine in your system if u use anything else xxx
