Hi girls!
I have my consultation booked for tomorrow but I’m looking for some more information on the 0% finance option with MYA.
If I pay half up front what are the requirements to be approved for the 10 months 0%.
Do you they require 3 years work history etc?
Any info will help!xx
Hey hun I got my ba + mini uplift last Dec and signed off for it in the August. From what I remember the online form asked how long u have been at ur current job, ur earrings and how long u have lived at ur current address. I don’t remember it asking for a history of work (I would rmbr as I’m a school teacher and have worked in a lot of different schools over six years)
Once ur proceedure is confirmed and u are ready to book a date u put down half of the proceedure (ie. Ur bank details/account u want it to come from) and the rest u owe is divided into ten equal payments. I had to redo mine because after meeting with my surgeon I was told I needed a mini uplift so had to get more money on fiance! The first payment is due 4 weeks after ur op! For example my op was Dec 12th and I made my first payment Jan 12th.
hope that helps! Fxx
It does ask how long you’ve worked in your current job and also when I had my first ever consultation my PC said I’d only be accepted if I had been in my job for 3 years x
I got lucky then as I’d not been in tht particular place of work for 3yrs! Maybe cos I’d been iny line of work for 3+ and my address for over 10yrs?
@fran32 thanks for the response. You mentioned that they ask how long you’ve been in your current job; so for example if my profession required me to move companies every few monthswould this effect my application? Even if you’re in employment the whole year?
how long you were in current employment when you were accepted?
@meganmariex I hope that it’s still possible without being at the same job for 3 years!
Hey ur welcome, when I applied for the finance I’d been working at my current school from the previous October (so under a year) I work on monthly and year contracts and it was fine for me. I don’t recall having to list all my workplaces for the previous three years or anything like that. It shouldn’t have an effect as I was fine.
I’m planning to pay the 2500 upfront and then have the other half paid off within the 10 months but I will be applying in my partners name as I think he has a higher chance of being approved.
Do you think it makes a difference if you’re self employed / employed?
Also how long till you receive a decision once you’ve applied? X
Yeah I had only been in my current job for 2 years and had no credit history either so my mum did it in her name. You never know they might not be super strict on the 3 year thing, just see what they say, good luck 🙂 xx
