How do you know what time your op is? Mines on the 15th December and they told me I’ll get an admission time 2 days before but never been given an op time. My pre op is on Wednesday. X
I’m not with MYA so will be different, I don’t need to pay extra if I stay over. Was just wondering anyone who had this time what they did:) I think it will just depend how I’m feeling whether I go home or not x
Hi Laura, I just had my op yesterday with Spire and my admission time was 12:30. I stayed over night and was discharged at 10am this morning. To be honest I felt much better knowing I was in the hospital being monitored all night and had all the nurses around me if I needed anything xx
@loze I’m having mine with Spire too! My friend had a reduction with them and she said their care was amazing and that I should make the most of staying over haha! My surgeon told me to pack an overnight bag in case I need to stay. Did you have the choice to stay over or did they make you stay over? X
@lauradawson ah really which one? Who is your surgeon? They just told me it was an over night stay and I didnt question it. My surgeon said they like to keep you in case of a haematoma as this can happen during the night. I would definitely recommend staying over as you really do get looked after 🙂 xx
@loze the one in Edinburgh, where did you have yours? My surgeon is Cameron Raine. Yeah I think I would feel better if I stayed over! Would have peace of mind haha???? x
