Hiya, every doctors is different! I saw this mentioned on this forum weeks ago so I asked my PC and she told me not to worry about it, they’d sort it out. Then last week I got a phone call from mya saying that they contacted my doctors and my doctors don’t send medical info out and that I’d have to go to the doctors and get it myself (for £10) and email it to mya myself. And my op is next week! I’ve spoken to other girls on here that have paid more as well, every doctors surgery has different procedures. Also spoke to a girl that only sorted hers out days before the op because mya left it so late.. So just to be on the safe side, ring your doctors and tell them you’re having private surgery and ask if they will send mya your info on myas request or if they charge for a patient summary. Then at least you’ll have a bit more notice 🙂 I only found out last Friday so went straight to the docs, paid the fee, wrote the request and they rang me today saying it’s ready to collect but can take up to 15 days! So I was lucky they did it quick or I’d have had to pester them. Plan ahead hun and ask them first just in case, especially if your surgery is quite soon x
