I want to wait for my initial consultion for a few months, but I have to admit I’m a bit worried about showing my small boobs.. which sounds silly since they have to see them, I’m insecure about it and concerned that I’m too tiny. I measure 25-26″ underbust(band size) (which when I put in an online bra calculator sometimes says it’s not even a valid number eek) and 28-29″ bust(cup size), so without a bra I appear underweight, even though I’ve tried so hard to put some on.. I still have a few months left to keep trying.
Has anyone felt the same?
Thanks xHi Hun, I was so nervous at showing anyone my boobs even on the day of the surgery when they draw on you I still felt a little self conscious. It’s so normal to feel that way but I found the surgeons and nurses are all great and they make you feel at ease. I’m now 6dpo and I have been showing my before and after pic to anyone who wants, funny that now I no longer have small boobs I don’t mind showing what they used to look like lol. Have you booked your initial consultation yet? I didn’t actually show my boobs to anyone until I met the surgeon. X
Really no need to be shy. My pc and nurse are both teeny tiny very small frames. My pc has her boobs done and she looks amazing. I think the thing is you want to change how you look as you’re not happy so when the consultation comes round keep telling yourself the reasons you are there. They are really lovely people who will be completely honest about what will work for you. After the consultation I think you will have a better understanding of what you want. Xx
Ahh you girls are making me feel so much better! @lindsey229 I’ve not booked it yet as I thought you have to show them at the initial consultation.. did they ask you during yours? Xxx
@becutie nope my initial consultation was just with my pc and she asked loads of questions and stuff but didn’t ask to see them, think it’s only the surgeons and nurses that would look. When I met the surgeon there was a pc in the room but she looked away probably for my privacy xx
My PC asked to see mine Hun. I think it depends who you see! But honestly they are so professional, I’m someone who will not get dressed even in front of my friends or family but I felt at ease with everyone I dealt with at MYA. Xx
My PC did ask to see mine at my initial consultation. I’m a very shy person but just decided to get it over and done with and it didn’t even feel awkward, you have to remind yourself that they see tons of boobs every day!
Also just wanted to say that I measure 26″ around my underbust just like you, slightly bigger on the bust at 32″ (but still small). I worried myself over my weight beforehand too as I was denied online due to having an underweight BMI but they didn’t even mention my weight at any consultations. Only thing is that I couldn’t have moderate profile implants as I’m too narrow, which I’m fine with!

I was worried about being rejected since I do have an underweight BMI as well. Thanks for your advice x

-12pSaff you seem lie in the exsat same position as me I’m only 7 stone my bmi is underweight as well it sucks and my boob are not even there they are literally just 2 nipples on my chest which sucks but I’ve already had to see my Surgon as I’m booked in for surgery 18th Jan i was so so nervous about getting my boobs out but it’s over pretty quickly I hate every second but it’s worth it good luck x

@tiffanylorraine thanks for your reply! Yeah on this website it says you must have a healthy BMI (even though I’m actually really healthy) which seems impossible to me. Omg bet you’re well excited, good luck! What size/shape/placing did you go for? Xx

@tiffanylorraine I’ve just had a look at some of your other posts and you seem very worried about the risks and illnesses, it’s completely up to you whether you should go ahead or not and don’t feel pressured to do so, it’s your body. But one thing I know is that worrying adds no value to your life and there’s so much can go wrong on a daily basis that we never take notice of, if you focus on them it can stop you from doing anything. All I can say is be brave, if you really want this you’ll need to change your mindset towards it so instead of looking at only the worst outcomes, start looking at how much care and support you will be given, today’s research and technology, how it’s helped girls, etc. I know you’re being careful which is good and advised, it sounds like you’ve talked yourself out of something that your really want, trust me I’ve felt like this myself a lot and I realised I have to go for things that I want. I hope this helps you a little xxx
