Hi girls – I’m 10WPO tomorrow and literally haven’t worked out in well, years! But obvs with NY happening I’m so motivated and really want to include exercise in with healthy eating – I usually just either jog.. kettle bell twists for abs & leg raisers

do you think this will be okay? I do have an M&S high impact sports bra that I’ll wear ..

Thanks in advance and happy new year everyone xxxxx

Have you already had your 6 week check up lovely? I was told at my 1 week check that I can go on long walks but no cardio/weights until I’ve been cleared at 6 weeks. I would imagine at 10 weeks you can do all of what you’ve mentioned, but I think you could ring your nurse to be sure?

Yeah good idea! @beitak892 – I was just worried as my body’s not used to it anymore but if I start off light I guess it should be fine 🙂 – thanks for advice xxx

Hey Hun all of that should be totally fine. Only thing I will say is kettlebell twists for your abs might put unnecessary strain on your chest muscles due to you holding the kettlebell close to your chest activating biceps and chest muscles. If your not used to training you might find it really uncomfortable. Depends how heavy a kettlebell your using and also whether u had unders or overs. Overs you’ll literally be fine.
Try some different ab exercises maybe just crunches with a light weight medicine ball as an alternative.
Also just my personal opinion because I weight lift. Jogging is also going to cause unnecessary bounce on your chest , which could be painful but also can make boobs sag. On the treadmill reasonably fast paced walking on an incline has exactly the same cardio affect but without the bounce. Or on the streets just fast paced walking. By all means if your a runner it’s in your heart so you gotta run lol but if you just want cardio there’s literally no need.
High impact m&s sports bra also willl be perfect! X
