Hi hun, I just told my employer that I was having an op and would require a couple of weeks off, didn’t tell them what the op was for and they didn’t ask xx

Check your company policy but usually a voluntary op won’t be covered under sick leave so they might put you down as unpaid leave if you don’t book holiday xx

I took 2 weeks holiday and didnt feel ready to go back so went to gp and got a sicknote xx
