Hey Hun, I can completely relate to you! I had my operation on Monday just gone (15th). The Monday and Tuesday I was in so much pain, threw up six times on Monday, couldn’t do anything to make myself feel better.
I was sent home with paracetamol, ibruprofen and codiene. I called the hospital and they said to take more of the codiene tablets which I was worried would make me more sick but I havent been sick since the Monday as I’ve ensured I’ve had meals and ate enough with my tablets.
Day 3 was a big turning point I felt a million times better and every day since has been better. I would say make sure you’re eating well and taking all of your tablets, call the hospital to ask if they can change your prescription to a higher painkiller and if not if you can up your intake.
Today I’m day 5 and I’m feeling great, I took my dog for a walk and can lift my arms and do everything for myself.
Feel free to message me if you need any advise as I’ve gone through it and feel loads better now!
Holly xx

Because my surgery day was relatively good when I woke up on 1dpo I was shocked as I was in so much pain and felt helpless, I was also very weepy and had the worst backache ever, this lasted a good few days but five to seven dpo was a massive turning point. Now I’m 7wpo and all the pain and emotions seem like a distant memory, I hope you’re ok babe and can only say it does get better. Keep taking your pain killers at regular intervals and use a hot water bottle on your back x
Thank you so much it really is helping my mental state I think when you in so much pain you feel like it’s going to last for ever which is the worst feeling I just feel so helpless and hate having to reply on my boyfriend to get me up and stuff it’s awful I just hope it eases off soon looking forward to some sleep let hope tomorrow is a little better than today thank you so so much it really is helping trying to stay as positive as possible xx
I’m one day post op too and my boobs are so tight especially in the cleavage area! My back is aching so I keep doing lots of stretches and walking around! Did you go to Preston? X
Hi Tiff, hope you start to feel better soon. Rest assured with each day that goes by your pain should go down. Just keep well hydrated and fed, and take it easy. I did find getting up and walking around the house helped ease the tightness in my chest, and it should also help with the back pain as you’re not stuck in one position getting stiff.
Hope it all eases soon, in the meantime, make the use of your boyfriends help and support!
I have been walking around as much as possible it does help it’s just the getting up part is the worst lol, also J I did go to Preston also my cleave area is very swollen and painful too I havnt got any bruising as of yet but I don’t no if it takes a few days to bruise x
Did you have Dr Mounir? I did my surgery was at 3pm. I had an uplift too! X
