hi girls 1st consultation is on the 3rd of Feb and I’m now doing as much research as I can on and looking into surgeons? which would you recommend girls! 🙂 xx
Hi, there’s so many good ones! But I’m booked to see Mr traynor on 5th February in Newcastle! I don’t lots of research and his work is amazing ! X
I hear lots of fantastic reviews from the girls on here so I don’t think you can really go wrong… I booked to see Dr Giannitrapani through recommendation and the minute I met him I knew he was the surgeon for me… he made me feel instantly at ease as I was so nervous, very professional, very honest and informative. I think maybe just pick a surgeon and if that surgeon doesn’t feel right for you then bookabitber consult with another surgeon… good luck! Xxx
thankyou girls! for some reason I have been drawn to Traynor! I’ll be going to the Fitzroy in London as it’s my closest! I think it’s because I’ve read more about him I think and I feel as he stands out to me just drawn to him so I’m hoping it’s a sign hahaha!xx
Hi Danielle, just wanted to point out that Surgeons only consult & operate in certain locations so it might be best to check they are available to you before you start your research and get your heart set on a surgeon/location.
I might be mistaken (things could have changed, check the website) but i think MR Traynor only works from Liverpool/Manchester/Newcastle
xxx
oh really! I thought he did do work in London I’ll have a look into it xxxx
oh wow Katie they look amazing ???? would you mind if I screenshot this to take 2 my consultation on the 3rd of Feb? literally just finished reading up about all the ones based at the London Fitzroy! I’m heading more towards him or Mr Marcellino? but not heard to much about him tbh! I’ve got an idea in mind of what id like it’s just whether they’d recommend that for me! I’m 5ft3 size 8 and weigh around 8 stone. I’m hoping 325cc no bigger than 350cc mod partials but It down to them to recommend what’s good for me xx
thankyou so much! oh really that’s pretty good then!? is that the biggest you were offered? I’m generally happy for 325cc as ice seen pictures on insta and I seem to like most of the 325 ones lol! oh really do you know what it is so I can have a look please 🙂 xx
oh brilliant! I’ve had 3 and breastfed too which took me upto a D so ideally I would love to be that again haha! after my last baby (10 months now) my boobs just seems to vanish into thin air haha! ywah I reckon I wouldn’t be able to go any bigger than 325cc I just have that feeling but my skin is very stretchy! I haven’t any marks out of all 3 of mine and I was big with them lol! 8vw just a browse actually! and I think I’m going to ask about him 1st!
do you have to take a bra with you for after or are you strapped for a few days?xxx
Dr traynor 100% he amazing and a lovely man too. I’m six weeks post op and I absolutely love mine there better than I could ever have imagined started off a 32a/b cup had 325cc hp unders now measuring a 32DD X
so gutted tbh, I had a look he doesn’t work out of London clinic where id be going! but I’ve heard so much good stuff about him!xx
I had partials and had full strapping but I still needed to wear my post op bra over the top as soon as my drains came out. You’ll definitely need to have a post op bra with you, the nurse will ask to see it when you get admitted. I was told by my PC that they won’t do the op if you don’t have it. Although saying that the girl in my room had unders and no strapping just a breast band and was told not to wear her bra for a week! Happy researching lovely xxxx
oh really! I’m pretty much all done with research before op, it’s just the aftercare bit I need to get clued up on lol! but I suppose that comes with when you find out what you having as to what you need to do I guess! have you any recommendations as to what bra to get? I was thinking the Macon? but a few people have said they can be very tight? what happens with the drains? can you still go home that day if you have them?xx
I got a Macom and an M&S high impact Sports bra. I way preferred the M&S one and stopped wearing my Macom as soon as my strapping came off. I’m still wearing my M&S sports bra now at 6wpo as it’s super comfy, and will probably get measured in a few weeks and get a normal bra. Yes you can go home! I was a day case so I think it was only about 40 minutes after my drains were removed I could go home. Xx
I just looked at both actually hah! might get the red Macon bra looks cute tbh lol! and just seen the m&s high impact bra isn’t it? with the zip st the front? did you go a size bigger around in a 32 so would i benefit from a 34 say for swelling ect or is it best to just get the normal size you wear! all this bra stuff is confusing me haha! as no one actually knows the does they’ll come out at really do they? that’s brilliant thankyou! I’m hoping to get home to my own bed haha!xx
I know lots of girls go up a band size but when I asked the nurse she told me not to do that and to stick with what I am which is a 32. I got a 32D in the high impact M&S Bra, it was snug to begin with but felt very supportive. It’s now really comfy, I love it! Xxxx
oh okay thankyou so much! honestly you’ve been a great help! so much nicer to find out from people who’ve already done it lol! I’ll probably do the same then see what they say! least they’ll fit after aswell if you stick to same size as you’ll normally be lol!xxx
