Hey, you should be able to take Ibuprofen aswell but inbetween Co-dydramol if that makes sense? So 1 or 2 Co-dydramol then 2 hours later the Ibuprofen then 2 hours after the Co-dydramol again. Should keep majority of pain away xx

    Hi Jade,

Had my op on 19th Jan and the pain was so bad on POD2&3 but ive woke up this morning feeling so much better. Just wanted to say that I promise it don’t last forever and it really will be worth it ❤️

I was taking 1 codydramol and 1 ibuprofen every 3 hours to keep the pain at bay x

Hiya, I’m just over 2wpo. I got advised against ibruprofen, a lot of the surgeons don’t recommend it. Once the co-dydramol get properly into your system with the muscle relaxants (if you have them?) You should feel a difference. If it helps I kept falling asleep all the time for around 2 hrs solid, it was crazy but good because I wasn’t lifting or moving about too mich the first few days, i found day 2-4 were the worst!! Hope you feel better soon! Wishing you a quick healing x

Hi girls thanks for replying I had to call MYA today and spoke to the doctor as needed anti sickness as the antibiotics make me sick so he prescribed that for me, I asked about the ibuprofen but he said not to take it for 2 weeks as it thins the blood and that increases the risk of bleeding inside the pockets they created for the implants. Same goes for garlic I was advised that does the same which I was suprised about! x
