    Hi all…
    I’m a fitness junkie and don’t know how I’ll cope post operation doing nothing…
    What’s you coping strategies?

    Tricky one! If you have a gym membership then cancel it for a month, so there’s no temptation to go. I’ve been taking the dog some walks, but thats about all you can do! You really do have to make rest I’m afraid xx

    I usually gym 5-6 times a week, so it’s tough doing nothing. Rest is so important for healing though so even if you feel alright, still take the maximum time your surgeon advises. I’ve been going for walks since day 2, gradually building up the time and distance. I’ve been a bit more mobile with my arms today, but I’m feeling it now, so have maybe done too much.
