Hi! I’ve got some questions for girls who are post operation please!!
When do you find out the time of your operation?
Where’s the best place for parking at Fitzroy in London? (Cheapest place that is close)
What alternatives are there for the post op bras?
How long do you stay in hospital after the operation?
I’m having my implants behind the muscle which I’ve been told is the most painful, how long did it take for the pain to go down?
When can your visitors be with you, would it be straight after the operation?
I’m currently a full A, I’m looking for big boobs, still want fairly small ‘normal’ boobs that are perky (ideally a full C cup) do you think 275cc would give me these results? MYA believe they would be but I’m worried it’s too big because I don’t want large boobs as I want it to match my frame.
Thanks for much for all your help!
275 is just perfect for a full C from someone who’s starting of with a full A. Definitely not too big
Hiya hun. I was told my admission time a few days before the op by email. I was told to get there for 9 at Fitzroy. We paid for all day parking 8.30-9 at night at ncp which is a 5min walk away but it cost us 34 quid! I’ve seen a few girls get it cheaper so prob best to search around but they are an option. I got there for 9 and had my op at 11.30. I woke at 1ish and back to my room for 1.30. I had to stay to be monitored and the surgeon came to see me as well as a doctor with my pain relief. I left about 6ish and went straight home:)
I bought a few bras. I got the m &s high impact sports bra. Unfortunately it was too tight for me but luckily I had two asda ones which were ok but sat on my scars which made them itch like mad! After 3 days o decided to order a macom (the one mya suggest) and it’s been brilliant. Only thing is it makes me boobs look a weird shape as there are holes where nippes are!
My partner came with me all day. We were in our own private room and when I went to theatre he was aloud to stay in the room, he took his laptop and did some work as they have free WiFi 🙂 I’ve read somewhere there are shared rooms at Fitzroy but I’m not 100percent! If it is a shared room though they have to leave whilst you are having the op.
Pain wise.. I had over the muscle and apparently that’s less painful. For me, I found it hard to cope with the pain but every individual is different. Lots of girls hardly feel anything just tightness but I am a wuss so I can’t handle any pain haha I just took my meds as regular as I could and an ice pack helps too 🙂
I’m not sure about sizes though. I had 400 and 375cc high profile overs but I am tall and have 34 inch back and I’m 11stone so they do base it on that. Honestly, I’m so happy with my results but maybe search on Instagram for girls with the same stats as you and you can see what size implants they have 🙂 that’s what I did and it really helped:)
Good luck !
You find out the time of your op about 2/3 days before
Parking no idea as I mega bussed it.
Bra alternatives would be either from Asda or M&S – sports bra a lot of people use that I’ve seen 🙂
I went in on Monday around half 7. Got called to my room by 7.45 and was in threatre by 9! I was back in my room at 11 and I didn’t leave until around half 10. Only because I was so tired! I was in and out of sleep all day. Even when the doc came in to explain me but my meds I was falling asleep hah! Then I was sick at 10pm so they kept me in for an extra half hour!
Unders are very painful ( I found this anyways!) I’m now on day 6 and have only taken pain meds one. I felt okay by day 4. Still some pain but mainly from tightness!
Not to sure on visitors as I only had my bf with me. But I know they can only stay until 10 if you are a night case.
I had 400cc hoping in the beginning to be a DD so think that size would be great for you xxx
I was text and called 2 days before surgery with my admission time.
I stayed at the Fitzroy hotel literally around the corner from the hospital and got the train from Euston to and from surgery.
I bought a high impact Tesco sports bra and a yianna bra for straight out of surgery but ms lutz didn’t like either so I was told to buy granny bra asap.
I bought d cup in the first two bras, but they crushed my boob’s, so 2 days po I ordered m&s granny bra in a dd and it fitted and felt so much better. I’m 4wpo and still wearing my dd bras as the d cup still crushes my boob’s, I thought I may need them when swelling went down but they’re so uncomfortable I’m sticking with the dd till I get properly measured in 2 weeks time, whoop whoop.
I didn’t have visitorsi went on my own and got a friend to collect me the following day, didn’t tell my family I was having it done till after I got home.
I was in a single room but they do have shared, th3 staff at Fitzroy London were amazing, I had to stay overnight as ms lutz likes you to if you’ve had unders and that’s what the paperwork recommends, so an extra £400 but well worth it, I’m glad I did, taking no chances. Also I’m allergic to penicillin and struggle with all antibiotics so I’m gladvi was there so if I did have any reaction, which always happens very quickly for me, they could do something about it.
I had 250hp partial unders, and the pain on day 4 and 11 was awful, the other days it was bearable, I figured those days were when my boob’s were changing, and I took my co codomol to manage it.
Happy healing
Hello. Can you guys help me ive had it done today and im in the holiday inn just down the road i cannot get comfy in bed everytime i try and move it feels like its burning where the cuts are. Is this normal?? Did u all get it? Im very tearful as i was so comfy at the hospital but am not now im laid as they recommended but frightened to move. Help!! When they took the drains out the lovely nurse strapped me up some more extremly tight ive read this is normal fid u all have this? My new boobs feel like they are going to burst.xx
I was at Fitzroy 2 weeks tomorrow I found out my admission time 5 days prior, parking I went through ncp and did the holiday inn, become a member for free and it’s cheaper. I currently have preferred the m and s high impact sports bra, tried a couple of others from m and s but this has been my favourite. I had to stay in hospital 6hrs after op but heard someone else was only told 4. Not sure about pain under muscle as I had mine over but pain didn’t last long before I could carry on normal day to day things. You are coming around in recovery, when you are awake they take you back to your room where your visitor can stay. I think I was about 2 hours gone from start to finish as took a while to come round in recovery. Not sure on your size as I went from a C with 400cc uhp but hopefully that helped with other questions 🙂 xx
Hi
The time varies but mine was about 5 days before my op
Clipstone Mews is the best place to park in my experience and within very short walking distance
Post op bras and sports bras – try macom, marks & spencer and TK Maxx
I was in there from 7am – 7pm but from my choice as I chose to wait for my surgeon to finish so he could come round and see me after, probably sounds like a long time but I loved every minute and it went very quick
I had under the muscle and I know this probably sounds unusual and pain was one of my biggest worries too, but I never actually had any pain, yeah my chest felt tight and sore in the first few days but that was it. Ice packs and stay on top of your meds, I switched to paracetamol on day 3 and stopped taking any pain relief from day 5. I know everyone is different though!
I asked for my boyfriend as soon as I woke up and within 5 minutes of me being out of recovery he was back in my room. They can wait in your room if you are lucky enough to get one on your own ha ha!
I wanted exactly the same as you, I had 250 left and 275 right due to asymmetry, I don’t think they look too big at all, just waiting for the drop and fluff now. See my recent post for a current pic x
Hey,
My admission time was 7am and I was down in theatre at 10am.
Parking- I parked in the Bloomsbury square which was a 15 min walk to the Fitzroy. I booked online a few days before 0700-2300 and it was £15. The parking is very safe and secure.
Post op bras – I have the M&S high impact sports bra. It’s really supportive and does exactly the same job as the Malcom! Go a size bigger.
They normally keep you for a few hours after op ( drains have to be taken out 4 hours after ) and then if your ok your discharged to go home. However, they kept me in over night at the last minute as I lost quite a lot of blood, so they wanted to keep an eye on me.
Pain- to be truthfuly honest, I haven’t been in any pain. It’s more of a discomfort because the taping is tight around your chest and they feel heavy.
Visitors: I took my partner with me. He grabbed some food whilst I was down in theatre ( was only gone for 1 hour ) then when I returned to my room he was back. I think they can only stay in your room if you have a room to yourself. However. Because they kept me in over night, they let him sleep next to me in a hospital bed which was really nice of them.
Hope your op goes well. Feel free to message me. X
