    Hey girls,
    Got my first consultation soon & im just wondering if anyone has any advice of the best time to get them done?
    My options are end of April, end of July or end of September (I have holidays and things in between) So basically which is best for healing…summer or winter?

    I doubt there’s a time best for healing, but I would think practically in the sense that you’re going to be in a massive sports bra for weeks and strapping summer tops won’t cover them very well! I best being hot would be really uncomfortable too! I would go with April or September!

    I agree with Holly. Also bare in mine you won’t be in pretty bras or braless for at least 6-12 weeks so if you want then done for summer even April might be a tad late depending on how quickly they settle.

    @holly @rebecca thanks girls! I think I’m defineitly putting myself off getting them done in summer (July!) I can imagine the strapping and massive sports bra would be too hot & uncomfortable! I think I’m swaying more towards September tbh as it gives me abit more time to plan & prepare (I have a 9 month old daughter so things can be hectic!) do you girls know how far in advance you can book your surgery? My consultation is next week & im sure I read somewhere something about it’s only valid for 6 months??

    Also you might not be able able to shower for 2 weeks or until you get your stitches removed, if that was in summer it will make it 10 times worse. Add to that being strapped up or in a bra 24/7 makes your body hot, imagine wearing all these things in the heat of summer

    I’d say winter time not for the healing process really just for the fact of having to wear a bra for 6 weeks post op constantly not being able to shower for two weeks post op I got my boobs done in June last year and the heat was a killer whilst recoverying as I was limited on what to wear and having to wear a post op bra for 6 weeks non stop when all I wanted to do was take it off as was ght hot lol if I could go back I’d of waitEd and got mine done winter xx

    @lala111 – Good point! 2 weeks of not showering in the summer! I can’t imagine that’s any fun haha! I’m definetly thinking more towards September time! Knowing my luck it will be a scorcher summer too!

    @staceymlx
    – thank you for the advice! Defo think I’m swaying towards the end of September more hopefully the weather will be abit cooler by then too! I’d love them done for this summer but I don’t fancy recovery during the heat! Oh bless you that much of been horrid! Did you get yours with Mya? Who was your surgeon?
