    Hi girls,

I’m 1wpo now and i’m due to go back to work next thursday, i’m feeling okay, managing to drive with some discomfort especially 5th gear, i do still get pain in my chest area but i think its more the bruising when i move. Im not on any pain meds anymore, just para and ibu when needed. My job is very hands on, lifting babies, reaching for things, bending down to get things, stretching, manual handling to move older children/young adults. I’m just wondering if anyone else has a similar sort of job and how they went back into it? Also am i going back too soon? i just not sure on what to do as i don’t want to push myself too much but at the same time i don’t want to be off sick :/ xx

@nikki I do a lot of manual handling in my job and driving I’m also in care with dementia and mental illness clients a lot of hoisting stretching on top of being bitten and scratched haha I spoke to my manager who doesn’t know what my op is for just knows I’m having a operation and won’t be able to use my arms so he said I can have two weeks off but then I spoke to area manager this morning about it and she said I need at least 3 weeks off and come as light duties so I’ll only be going to people houses to do meds meals etc nothing that’s handling the clients. See if you can push for another week off xx
