    Hiya,
I had my Ba on 6th March, I had 450cc moderate plus unders. I know it’s only been almost two weeks now but it’s hard to imagine how they will be after the drop and fluff period especially as my left implant is still sitting so high. Does anyone that has mod+ Unders have any photos they can share of their progress as most people I see have UHP.

I had quite a painful recovery with my left breast as I kept getting the horrible shooting pains whenever I moved – third day was worst for me and I didn’t know how I’d get through it but actually felt almost normal again by day 6.

Also I was very active in the gym before my op and they’ve said not to exercise for 4 weeks which I’m finding difficult.. did anyone go back sooner than this I was thinking of just going for walks to keep me active? But after the 4 weeks are you ok to get back into weights if you start off lightly as well as cardio?

    Thanks in advance xxx

    Hiya Ashlie,
I had moderate plus (350 & 375) under the muscle 3 months ago and was (and still am) an avid gym user (both weights & cardio).

I was told not to go back to the gym for 6 weeks after surgery which I struggled with but I took my nurse’s advice. (But of course, take the advice of your surgeon or nurse). I know it’s hard but honestly I’m so glad I allowed my body to fully recover before I went back. I didn’t want to risk any complications by going back sooner, I was however going for walks at 4 weeks.

When I went back to the gym after 6 weeks I was understandably weaker but it literally took me 2 weeks to get back to where I was prior to surgery!

The only thing I struggle with is push ups. They don’t hurt but I can feel my chest muscles when I do them, it feels weird so I don’t really do them anymore. Other than that I can lift my usual weight and am doing HIIT training which I find perfectly fine. I struggle a little with running due to the boobie bounce lol but it doesn’t hurt – maybe I need a more supportive sports bra for that.

Drop & fluff took a little longer for me in comparison to others I’ve spoken with – it wasn’t until week 9 that they started to D&F. My left used to sit higher than my right, but once they started dropping they evened out.

I too was suffering with shooting pains mainly in my left boob & I still get them every now and again but it’s not so bad now, it’s due to your nerves repairing.

Anyway, I hope this was helpful & I hope you have a speedy recovery xx

Thanks for getting back to me! Very useful hun. Did you have to also wear the strapping? Yeah my left one is a little higher than my right one but I’m sure with time they will be fine.

Also how long until you were in normal bras? I’m going away in may and wanted to be wearing normal ones then and bikinis but I’ve seen a lot of people say that they change sizes and stuff in the first few months. Also how long until the swelling went down? I started off as a 34b and asked to be a DD but think I’m a little bigger than that at the moment but think that’s where they haven’t dropped yet.

I’ve started going for walks already just to feel as though I’m doing something but can’t wait to get back to the gym after 4 weeks xx

    Hiya Hun, no probs 😉

Yes, I had to wear the dreaded strapping for 3 weeks, was a nightmare but it really helped the implants to slowly drop, without it I think my implants would have sat higher for longer.

I assumed I would be back to wearing bras at week 6 but when I went for my 6 week check up my nurse told me I wasn’t ready for bras as my implants were still a little high, she advised waiting until week 9. Everyone heals differently at different rates though, most seem to be in bras at 6 weeks.

At week 8/9 I noticed the biggest change, drop and fluff was definitely taking place as I noticed the lower part of my breasts were filling out. I then went and got measured and was told I was a 32DD/E. At this point I found it very comfortable in bras.

For me, between week 8-9 there were changes occurring with regards to my size, i think it was around this time all of my swelling had went down.

I feel as though they finally settled at DD rather than E (I was in an E cup at week 9), I’m now 3 months post op & am in DD.

Yh, I’m sure walks are fine. Don’t worry Hun, you’ll be back in the gym in no time, ATM your body needs the rest so you can heal. And honestly the time will soon fly by. Try to enjoy your break away from the gym 😉

    Happy healing Hun xx
