Hey girl, I had my first consultation yesterday with MYA. MYA offer a 3year readmission policy within the total cost, this is where they will do the surgery for free – I think this is in the information they email you – procedural guide – which i found very useful albeit most of my questions were answered by the PC so maybe contact your PC and ask for clarification? Otherwise the manufacturer has a guarantee on the implant’s lifetime (which you can read on Mentor’s website) but you will have to pay for the surgery cost after the first 3years.
If you’re unhappy with the 3years then go with the other company and pay the extra money for the 10year readmission policy with them, that’s probably what I’m going to do tbh as the 10year option is swaying me to the other company, but I’m still deciding. Although both companies have told me they won’t redo it unless the surgeon agrees there is an issue – if it’s a simple case of wishing i’d gone bigger they won’t redo it… so make sure you’re 100% sure on the cc size and fully aware that they can’t guarantee what size this would make you x
