I don’t generally post on here but just want to reassure anyone having their procedure at First Trust Hospital Preston. I had my op today. I can honestly say the standard of care was impeccable. All staff were lovely and so caring. I had 325cc overs. Mr Traynor was the surgeon and despite his reputation for being a bit cold he was fab. Had a laugh with him over my magazine having a headline of ‘surgery shockers!’ He really does have a good sense of humour really. The procedure was quick and I was lucky to have no post GA issues. There is honestly no pain. Just discomfort, tightness and a bit is stinging at times. All in all a fab day. So don’t worry, you’re in safe hands.
