So I had my surgery yesterday with Mr Mounir at First Trist Preson, on arrival at 8am we were shown straight to our private room where we met our lovely nurses, i found out I was first on the list so literally by 8.15 I was in my gown and socks ready for the surgeon to start at 9am. That must have been the quickest hour of my life.. in the space from 8.15-9 I had been checked over, met the anaesthesiologist and was ready to meet my surgeon. When he came it at 9am I signed my Consent form and he said we will see you in ten minutes… we’ll he really wasn’t joking it was literally ten minutes ???? I was taken into the anaesthetic room with the lovely nurse and anthesiologist who spoke to me and calmed me down, I have 4 kids at home so I had an overwhelming fear of not waking up to them… anyway next minute I had a cannula in and was asleep, I don’t even remember a warning other than her saying this will feel cold (this was I a very professional way as you could see they knew I was so worried about it which was great as I didn’t know) next minute I hear “Chloe, Chloe” and that was it just like that I was awake and in recovery… after a few sneaky looks at my boobs I was moved to recovery, at first I felt a lot of pain and wanted some medication so when I was settled back In my room she brought me 2 ibrufofen and the pain went I was left with just a tightness.

Cont…anyway I fell in Love with them instantly (don’t get me wrong one is sitting slightly higher and more swollen but I can see past this) so ten minutes after being in my bed I get given a ham sandwich and a cup of tea… it was awesome!! I’m one of the lucky ones who has no symptoms at all from anestetic so I was rather content at this point!! Anyway obs everybour until the last one after 2 hours where the nurse came and said.. ok do you want to go home? So off I went at 2pm after arriving at 8am!! Crazy!! The journey home was a bit rough for me so glad I took my vshaped pillow to block out the seatbelt and my breast. From getting out of the car I have felt great, so strangley bizarre as as I have read some horror stories about unders and I also had 420 implants which I thought was quite big ???????? got home wasn’t tired or anything just heavy and tight on the chest but not struggling to breath or anything. We got home had a bbq with friends and then I went to sleep about 12, obviously I am back aware at 2.30am but think that’s due to the whirlwind day!!

It hasn’t kicked in yet that these are mine but I just wanted to share my fantastic experience, I was so so anxious and there was absolutely no reason to me!! It was a great day so relaxing and I think I have been lucky without pain (I do have squelching to the breasts ???? that’s odd) anyway good luck girlies hopefully this will help relax anyone with upcoming dates xxx

Honestly lousie it’s been a breeze! I read so many scary stories and it was such a good day I was literally so anxious for weeks but then the day came and now it’s all done and I feel fine, I’m stiff this morning and have sore spots but I’m only on the paracetamol (they give you codeine but a lot of people have stomach problems from it so I’m trying to avoid) good luck for tomorrow ❤️

Yes I would 100% recommend I met with mr Traynor and Mr Mounir, the reason I chose Mounir he was willing to give me a bigger implant that Traynor and he also had availability sooner although they both have amazing reviews. The staff at first trust are just amazing.. literally couldn’t of asked for a better experience or recovery so far it’s so weird I was expecting so much pain.. please bare in mind I have breast fed 4 kids so maybe I have stretched my muscles previously so not sure if that’s helped at all. 🙂 good luck!!! Xxx

Just make sure you take your arnica, I’m getting a little bruising now but have made it through the day with just paracetamol and manageable discomfort. Day 3 tomorrow so will see how I am then but I think I will be fine. They literally change every hour though so just try not to look at them too much ???????? xxx

So glad to hear your good experience. I’m booked for Preston too, and am also so scared now counting down the days. So reassuring to read this. Hope you have a speedy recovery 🙂

Thankyou @ana enjoy the experience it really isn’t as scary as we make it out in our heads In the run up to it, I kept thinking I was going to bleed to death or not wake up from the anaesthetic now looking back at the last few weeks I stressed myself out over nothing xx best of luck xxx
