I’m considering booking for labiaplasty surgery as I’ve been considering it for a few years now. I’ve had my initial consultation with my local clinic and am hoping to book a surgeon consultation soon. Reading the general surgery guidelines I was given, it says that I would need someone with me to be discharged from hospital. If I go through with the surgery I plan on staying overnight in the hospital as its quite a way to travel for me, does anyone know if I will still need someone with me to be discharged the next day, or does it just apply to same day cases?
