so my surgery is an overnight case – I was just wondering if anyone knew if I could stay in a hotel very close by with my boyfriend instead of staying in the actual surgery?!

Hi, I don’t think so because my pc told me uplift and implants turn it into a major rather than a minor so they want to monitor you all night! But the best person to ask is you pc xx

If you’ve already paid for an overnight stay probably not but it’s safer anyway, the nurses come in every couple of hours and take yout blood pressure, carry your drains for you when you need the toilet, if you need anything they rush in at the press of a button with pain killers etc and give you a menu of good post surgery foode, wouldn’t be quite the same in a hotel?.

I suppose that’s true!!! I just feel like I’ll sleep easier next to him. Thank you xx
