My mam sadly passed away of breast cancer , she had implants too and she said if it wasn’t for the implants she wouldn’t of known for months and months as the implants projected the lump , It was more detectable, Iv been told if you have a history of breast cancer in the family they like do place the implants under the muscle don’t know how true this is ? Apparently There’s no evidence that you have a increased risk or chance by getting the implants trust me Iv done my reasearch !, it’s worth speaking to your surgeon though to put your mind at ease xxx

I think you will find that there is now a link to a rare cancer called ALCL. Although its not a breast cancer in patients with implants it occurs in the breast tissue surrounding the implant. Both consultations I have been to have brought it up (not with Mya).
