Hi girls I’ve found it really hard to find someone that had the same problem as I did, so I’m hoping by writing this post if anyone ever comes across it it may help. Unfortunately I can’t post pics as I’m not a mya patient. I had 380 round moderate implants placed above the muscle from a small A cup on the 21/5/18. I knew straight from about three days post op my sternum swelling wasn’t normal. I slept with a rolled up flannel in between my post op bra and it settled but by 6 months post op I ended up with uniboob, and my nipples had moved towards my armpit. Without hesitation my surgeon agreed the pockets need readjusting. I had this done two days ago 7/1/19. It’s so much different to my first BA. First one I had no pain it just ached slightly this time it’s so painful. I had permanent sutures down the middle attached to my ribs to ensure I don’t get uniboob again and had the pockets opened slightly at the sides. Instead of thick dressings around each breast I ordered a thong bra from America to hold down the middle sutures. They look bumpy uneven and wanted to cry when I first saw them but I’m trying to be optimistic that in a few months they will look how I had hoped in the first place. If anyone has had anything similar and has any advice would be appreciated, or if anyone comes across this and has any questions feel free to ask xx
