    Hi guys,
I’m due to have 500cc HP on 11th feb and I’m panicking about what I need to take with me.
I am not staying over night so will be coming home after my surgery. Any suggestions???

    Hi!

Don’t worry about taking to much I only took a couple of things like my dressing gown, slippers, roll on deodorant and baby wipes, post op bra, I also took a magazine but I didn’t even have chance to read it as I was the first one on the list having the op, I would also take a pillow if you are travelling by car however I didn’t end up using it I just put my seatbealt over myself so it just covered my waist and didn’t go over my boobs! That’s pretty much all you need and make sure you take comfy clothes to go home in 🙂 xxx

Thanks. I’m panicking about going under general anaesthetic. I’ve only been under once and it really panicked me and I woke up panicking and ended up crying!
Will be worth it in the end though

It was my first time too! I felt like walking back out the theatre room when I was in there because I felt like I was in a film ?? but honestly once they have done the Canula you are asleep so fast!!! I was terrified so if I can do it then you can do lovely!! You will be so proud once you’ve had it done xxx

All I took with me was a change of comfy clothes and travel pillow, which was the best thing EVER
And some slip on shoes and my surgery bra and phone charger. That’s all you really need

Thanks that’s really helpful. I’m hoping I don’t have to wait around too long. Not got my surgery time yet.

    Hey,

Take a pillow with you! If you have a long car journey home then it really helps! Also wear a loose top and make sure it’s zip up as you won’t be able to lift your arms too high x

Thanks was planning on taking comfy clothes as I couldn’t think of anything worse than tight clothes after surgery. Starting to get nervous now 7 days to go ?

I was so panicked before my surgery, on the day I was nothing but excited! Don’t be scared, think how many times your doctor has done this surgery, they know what they’re doing!! Also It didn’t really hurt tbh, just think of the bikinis you can wear in summer! My surgeon gave me medication so I spent my first few days sleeping, just make sure you have someone with you for the first week because you won’t be able to do the little things like tie up your hair and lift your arms above shoulder height! Hope this helps x
