So I had my original surgery 12 years ago and went from a aa to a c with 340cc unders . Fast forward 12 years and 2 kids later and my breasts looked a little droopy. I know that when implants get to that sort of age the risk of complications increases so I decided now was the time to get them redone. I went for a consultation and was told I ideally needed a lift. My nipples sat at 24cm and my implants were still high under the muscle and my breast tissue was sort of hanging of the end. I thought that since I’m paying all this money I may astl go bigger but my surgeon said my breasts were still full and I didn’t have the skin to do implants and a lift at the same time. We decided that I should have 500cc hp unders put in first and then return 6 months later for the lift. He said that if he can release the muscle and give some lift with bigger implants then I might only need a small donut lift or even no lift at all of they drop and fluff well enough.
Yesterday was op day. I’m So scared of the GA but everyone was lovely. My admissions was 7.30, I was in theatre by 8.40 and in recovery by 11 and in my room for 11.30. The thing that bothered me most straight after was the sickness and in still feeling sick today. To help the implants drop behind the breast I have to wear a band across the top and this is giving me back ache. The pain is minimal when I’m still bit quite sore when moving around.
I’ve just took the bra and band off to have a look and they don’t look any bigger! Hoping the drop and fluff makes difference.
