Hi girls!
I wanted to share with you my progress and lifehacks I discovered during my first week of recovery.
My stats before operation: 168cm, 54kg, 32C at Victoria’s Secret, petite frame
375cc Moderate Plus Implant, partially behind the muscle
Op day: Friday 19th April
The day of the op was great and I was very relaxed and chilled (maybe was too early for me – 7am admission). Everything went super fast and I was home by 8pm. Could go earlier but I was too weak to “survive” the taxi ride home.
First look at them and oh my god… They are huuuuge! Bigger than I thought but hey! At least I’m not going to have a boob greed. My surgeon had to choose between 6 different implants when I was on the table – 325, 350, 375 mod plus and high profile. I told her on the day that I trust her and I know she will put the right one!
First two days were terrible for me, pain was nothing as I expected it to be. I couldn’t do or move at all and if it weren’t for my boyfriend I would never get up from bed. I was constantly waiting for the next dosage of painkillers hopeing I can sleep everything off but I couldn’t sleep so much at the end but not so much because my boob pain but because of my crazy upper back pain which is still driving me mad! After a week there are two things I can’t stand… Tightness and heavy feeling in my chest and bloody back pain.
Few lifehacks from this past week, to make your life easier:
– V pillow is a must, but even though you are sitting higher, ask your partner to give you a gentle push when you are trying to get up from bed during first few days. It will save you from annoying cramping pain
– get a back scratcher, its so good to scratch your head or neck without using your hands too much
– have someone to be with you for the first days 24h a day. Just in case… I couldn’t even flush the toilet myself or put my pants or socks on for first 2 days
– when you stay home alone afterwards, make sure you have all food portioned and placed on the fridge shelf where you can easily reach. My boyfriend prepared for me ready portions which I could put straight in the microwave – it is truly a blessing
– while sitting on a sofa use a tiny “bed table” on your lap (forgot the name of it, the one they serve fancy breakfasts on in movies), this way plate is higher and is easier to reach with a fork
– shallow warm baths relax muscles
– ice packs will bring you relief
– after few days ask your partner to give you a gentle upper back massage, it is literally like an orgasm for exhausted muscles
– make sure you have straws at home, its so much easier to drink from a cup
I think thats it what comes to my mind at the moment. Please ask away if you have any questions :))
I have one to you girls! When after operation could you stand straight up with your back straight??? Im constantly hunched and my back is killing me :(( hate it more than the boob pain, because I cant find relief in no position π
My progress photos below :)) cheers!
Thanks for this great info, noted it all down – hope your recovery is going well ?
Thanks Laura ;)) they are still super tight, but I’ve change my M&S Bra to an Amazon one and this one doesn’t make my back so painful.
