    Hey girls,

So I’m 2 days post op, had a bit of a bad time with pain in recovery as I am sensitive to a lot of pain relief so barely got much. I’m home now but getting out of bed is so difficult I just had to shout my dad to push my back up as I was stuck I’d slouched too much and couldn’t get up!
I know a lot of people sit in a chair, I’m currently on the sofa but can’t sleep at all. Any tips?? pls tell me it’ll get better x x x

Hey, I’ve been sleeping in bed with 4 pillows piled up behind me. It took a few nights but I have got used to it, and even prefer to almost sit up straight to sleep now! I turn my head to one side and look down, it feels a bit more snug. I used to sleep on my side so it has really been an adjustment. I was also sliding down the bed in the night, and needed my bf to hitch me back up to a sitting position for the first week. I can shuffle myself back up now (2wpo) so yes it will get better! Hang in there xx

When can you get back to normal with your partner? I.e. sex, foreplay etc??

I’m 3 days post op and have been using 2 pillows, and a V pillow behind my back, and then another pillow on top for my head. I have my mum to help me out of bed as I can’t get out myself but it’s gotten easier by day 3. I got a lot of pain relief which has made me drowsy and sleep twice as long as I normally do. It will get easier by day 4, I usually have to turn to the side and shuffle my way with my bum to get myself out of bed on my own

A wedge pillow is a godsend! Then 2 pillows laid on top of it.
