Ahh so was so excited to have my consultation in July, I knew what I wanted then I watch a program on channel 4 dispatches about Breast Implant Illness, I didn’t know this was a thing!! If you were aware of this did or would this put you off having a BA? I don’t feel put off just a little concerned maybe, because all the consultations I’ve been to know one has every mentioned that the implants could make you poorly.
Definitely real, I had sooo many symptoms backwards an forwards for blood tests etc. Didn’t even think it could be my implants. Anyways In the end I found a lump had an ultra sound turned out I had CC and both implants had ruptured.
Last year I got them replaced, stupidly thinking I only had symptoms because mine had leaked but oh no the symptoms are back.
I have the banned ones that were on that programme, I’m looking to get them out as I think I have CC again as awful pain and discomfort in my right breast x
Yeah they have had to change because Allergan implants have all been recalled and their license suspended. So they’ve had to change the brand of implant. I didn’t get mine done at MYA I had mine done at Transform X
Ah right I see, do you know what implants they used from transform then? Because you’re getting them removed aren’t you? So sorry to hear the journey you’ve had to go through 🙁 x
