Hey ladies , so I’m currently 2wpo and everything seems to be going ok however since day 1 I have really struggled with sleeping. Before the op I would sleep flat on my front so it’s been hard trying to sleep upright, even with all the cushions and pillows I have woken up either flat on my back or on my side everyday.has anyone else been like this? I’m worried it might start causing problems as there is probably a reason everyone is meant to sleep upright x

I had the same problem, would just sit there awake for hours, i found putting at least 1 pillow under my knees so they’re fairly bend helped loads (feels comfier and stops you rolling onto your side more) xx

I was dreading sleeping post op. As I’m pretty much an owl and am a very light sleeper! Surprisingly I’ve slept well but I have been on a reclining sofa so maybe try that if you have access? Tonight is my 4th sleep since the op and am going to try going in my actual bed and will get my mum to build me a fortress around me to stop me rolling, have you got v pillows? X

Sleeping with a pillow under my knees stopped me sliding down and really helped with the back pain, I also found making sure my head was propped up enough helped!! X
