Which do you ladies recommend? Are the macom and lipoelastic really worth the money? TIA x

    Hey Holly
I have 2 macom ones a black one and a cream colour one and they are both comfortable and are such great quality
I’m 5 days post op and when I handed my macom bra to the nurse she commented on how great the quality was so ide say the Macom ones were worth it xx

Not had my op yet but bought I’ve bought a macom and an m&s one! Heard good reviews about both, the m&s one is a bit cheaper which I’ll use when the macom is in the wash xx

Thanks for taking the time to reply guys. I’m really torn. Like you said the m&s is cheaper which is a bonus. It’s so hard not even really been able to try them on properly as you’ve no idea what size you’re going to end up x

Pink princess, how did your op go? I’m so impatient wanting mine! X

Hi I had 2 macom ones that I wore mainly and 2 m and stones and 2 Asda ones which I wore when in wash etc.. m and a do so nice post op bras for when you no longer need sports bras too with no underwire etc .. I’d bought macom then surgeon recommended lipo elastic but I stuck to Macoms as didn’t wanna pay out yet more money bit had 2 nurses tell me there’s not much difference between the 2 .. I found the macom to be very supportive but they are meant to be tight after a few weeks the m and a and Asda ones were perfect . Hope this helps x

How did you all buy m and s post op bras cause they go buy cup size which isn’t known I’m I correct? I have a macom post op bra but wanted to get a second one for when one needs washing?

I have 2 M&S black zip up ones and the nurse on the op day said that zips are generally a little more difficult so don’t make the mistake I made of getting a zip!

Personally, for straight after the surgery I would go for the MACOM as it would allow for all the swelling. Also, you don’t need to predict what size you’ll be for the MACOM. You just go by band size.
I didn’t like the M&S ones at all. I find them very uncomfortable x

Hey Holly is that the closest date they could give you for your op 😲 or is that just out of your own choice
it will definitely come before you know it 😊
Thankyou I’m healing really well not in as much pain now just achey and now and again shooting pains and sort of bruising pain when you press on them it’s nothing like it was at the start though all the burning you get has gone 🙏
