I know exactly how you feel and your ranting it done now . I save from 16 to 21 for mine but I wasn’t putting away money every month .
You can open isas with your bank and get some interest on it as well
Do you have a phone you pay monthly for ? As this will count towards your credit score and show that you can pay off debt .
There’s a app you can download what checks your credit score … That mite give you a rough idea
