Hey, what results are you hoping for, and what implants and size, etc do you have in mind? I have been recommended a lift with implants and I think it will give me the look I am desiring, as I want mine to have as much upper pole fullness as possible while looking natural. Also, how concerned are you about scarring? At first, seeing a lot of comments regarding the scarring caused by uplifts almost put me off however I am so conscious of mine after losing weight. I also have stretch marks on my stomach, so scars mean nothing to me, as they fade over time, and the results will be worth it x
I had a donut lift and wish theyd done a full uplift as the result isnt what I wanted but it depends on what you want 🙂 if you would be happy with your boobs as they are but bigger than fine, if you want better nipple position then go for lift. implant doesn’t change the nipple position unfortunately 🙁
I’m hoping for a fuller, natural look and to try and fill my breast pocket, I don’t hate the shape of my bigger breast just want to fill the pocket a bit (I hope that makes sense)
Size doesn’t really bother me but I don’t want them to big. 5 years ago I was offered 400cc hp overs, but I don’t know if that will be to big for me now. Scaring doesn’t bother me so if I need one lift that would be fine – I’m really liking pictures of 325cc hp patorals but who knows if they will suit me!
Hope this makes sense xxx
This is what I was thinking, I don’t ‘hate’ them as they are but I’d like more fullness if that makes sense – I actually don’t mind the shape of my bigger boob xx
Hi Sophie,
I would think a lift would totally depend on what results you’re looking for. If fullness is what you’re trying to achieve then maybe just go for implants.
Also who was your econsult with, a patient coordinator or a surgeon? As I have had been told I would potentially need a nipple lift by a patient coordinator, but an econsult with a surgeon never mentioned any type of lift! Xx
If you are looking for that shape and upper pole fullness I think you will most likely want implants, with an uplift you cant go too heavy with implants as you don’t want to weigh the breasts back down so its about lifting the breasts and giving an implant for volume and shape. I have been told that mine may not sit as high as someone that only has implants as my skin has already stretched but I will see a big improvement. Your sagging definitely isn’t severe enough to warrant an implant… See what the surgeon has to say! Xx
I’m hoping for a fuller breast pocket really, it was with a patient coordinator! I’m hoping if I see a surgeon then they will say I won’t need a lift or I can have just an implant now with a possible lift in the future.
Loads of people have said the same!! I’m also hoping to lose about a stone before my op (later on in the year) so maybe this could change them a bit too xx
This is my worry, that I won’t have a lift now and they end up bottoming out or being worse in the future – just going to see what a surgeon says xxx
Yes I know what you mean. Have you booked your surgeon consultation? If not then I recommend seeing one and then getting a second opinion. Let us know how you get on! Xx
Not yet, as I can’t have it done till later in the year I was going to wait till early March for my surgeon consultation, but I also would want to know what they’ll offer me so I can research so I’m torn tbh xx
Your breasts are similar to mine, I thought I would need a lift but Dr Sleiter said implants only will be fine and will give me a bit of a lift. I’m pleased because as others have said, you can go larger with implant only and I’m having 425 or 450cc overs. I’ll try and send you a private photo x
Sophie, depending on who you go with, they might tell you to come back once you are your ‘ideal’ weight. My friend went with Dr. Giannas, and he asked her if she was her ideal weight or if she wanted to lose some, and she said she wanted to lose two stone, so he told her to come back once she has lost the weight. You say you want to lose a stone, which will change your breasts as you will lose a lot of tissue, so what they recommend in March, might be different to the end of the year when you want your op (I know you probably know all this but just want to make sure you’re not wasting time) I would wait xx
I would really like to share my experience as it may be helpful to you. I had very similar breast to you with some slight drooping I am 10 stone, size of 10 and have one child who I didn’t breastfeed I am 35 I wasn’t able to go with MYA as I can’t travel to London so I wine local. I selected two surgeons who I liked the work of. Although it was expensive I decided to have a consumption with each one to make sure I made the correct decision. I had a very good consultation with one surgeon who gave me a good range of implant sizes I could have he felt for me somewhere from 285cc to 350cc I liked him so much but had already paid for the other consultation so thought I may as well go. Like you I had initially had a phone conversation and 3D imaging by this surgeon. When I went for my face to face consultation he said I would need a lift as well as implant which was also a lot more money. I was very confused as the first surgeon I saw is very experienced and a lift wasn’t mentioned. I didn’t feel this was necessary for me and I didn’t want the scaring. I left feeling very upset and unsure if I was almost being tricked into having this. Needless to say I went with the first surgeon and had this done yesterday writing this from hospital and absolutely love my boobs already! Of course this is only my experience and we are all different I couldn’t not share when I saw this as if I had seen him first I would have just thought this is what I needed. I wouldn’t have gone ahead of this was the case. My personal opinion is that it’s such a huge life changing decision and it has to be right and getting more than one consultation is helpful to get the best results for you. I really hope this helps L xxxx
