Hi everyone! I had my surgery done on the 24th of this month, only a few days ago! I was not expecting the aftermath to be this painful. I was given ibuprofen, tramadol and co-codamol which helped for a while but now they are making me very sick every time I take one? Is anyone else experiencing pain so much they can’t even sit up without help?? I have went from a small B to a 535 cc on my left and 480 cc on right, maybe it’s the larger size implant that’s the problem x

Hi Jods. I had the same pain and if I took the co codamal and tramadol I felt really sick too. I think you just have to ride it out. It got better at around day 7. I had my post op and mentioned it to my surgeon he said it’s normal to get pain although I never saw anyone complain about it before ! Did you get under the muscle ? I only got 305cc but i was so flat before it was so tight and painful so it could be to do with size. It will get better though x

And yes I couldn’t sit up without a hand ! More or less was sat in one place for a week.. it was awful but it won’t last forever xxx

Hey thanks for getting back to me! That makes me feel better knowing someone else felt the same.. hopefully the pain will get better soon and it will be worth it 😊 I actually decided to go with the larger implant just before surgery so I am a bit nervous about what size I will end up! And yes I did go under the muscle which I have heard is much more painful for recovery. Fingers crossed it is away soon! Xxx

I was in a lot of pain for around 4 days, then it was just discomfort for a few weeks with right boob and a little more pain with the left that took almost a month longer to drop and fluff than the right!
I just loaded up on paracetamol because the pain relief they gave me made me dizzy and sick, the nurse also said it could make me very constipated too!

I saw the surgeon 2 days ago (11 weeks post op today), and he said it’s normal to still get shooting pains for 8-10 months.

    Hope you feel better soon!
