Finally had my op last Wednesday and decided to have it done under LA.
Didn’t like the thought of been put to sleep- frightened me more than the op!!
I had 440cc teardrop overs and so far my recovery has been amazing.
If anyones thinking about it- definitely go for it! The nurses said not many people do but it’s the best option in terms of recovery, I felt like I’d had a little nap and woke up feeling absolutely fine! X
Sorry just seen this, I had it done through Ramsey health care- they’ve got private hospitals dotted up and down the country I think.
I had local anaesthetic and sedation.. slept through most of it and can’t really remember any of it!
