Morning all. I had my surgery yesterday and I’m already panicking about asymmetry. As soon as I could I have a peak I saw that my slighter bigger breast looked noticeably bigger. When I arranged the sizes my surgeon (not Mya) was comfortable that the difference was so small that the same size implants would be fine. I’m hoping as swelling subsided this becomes less apparent. It’s also probably more obvious to me since I’m looking down at them and they’re naturally rock solid at the moment. Did anyone have a similar experience? I had 375cc high profile over the muscle. Thanks xx

i would definitely try not to worry at the moment, i had one breast a little bigger than the other and i was also mild tubular. The surgeon (i had mine done through mya) recommend no bigger than 275cc (i had no tissue to work with on the bottom of my breasts) moderate profile and dual plane. i was worried they would still be off balance, after surgery i was worried as one was little bit bigger and also i thought the nipples were not the same. well its only 1 week and 2 days on from my surgery and they are so much better!! look even and my nipples are even. i felt like i was silly for worrying (but naturally to do so) but they do say you really wont know the true outcome to atleast 6 months down the line, some people it even takes a year. So i would really not try to worry but if you are then i would definitely ring up and ask to see them xx

Thanks for your reply Rhiannon. The swelling is starting to go down and they’re heading in the right direction. They were very similar in size beforehand so while they won’t be identical i’m sure the difference will be minute and only I will know and be judgemental lol must remember they’re like eyebrows, sisters not twins xxx

yes exactly! im freaking out a little because my left areola is bigger than my right one..not by alot but enough for my partner to agree and also it isnt a full circle like the other one its has a bit of a straight edge on one of the sides..im hoping once the scaring fades that it all blends in (i have light coloured areolas) but like you said sisters, not twins! still cant help but worry though but shall see what they are like when i go for my 6 weeks post op in a months time. super happy yours are healing the way you want and are becoming happy with them 🙂 xxx
